As someone who has lived and currently lives in Boston, there are areas where the water is actually very clean now. The past 20 years have totally changed the harbor. No more dumping and a laundry list of ecological cleanliness bureaucracy will do that. Plenty of places you can swim. And people do swim.

But they wouldnât allow you to climb back down. You had to jump. So I started crying. But finally worked the courage up. But never have I done that again and will never again lmao!
I had a similar experience when I was 11. But in my case, I went back down the ladder. Along with a whole line of kids, one waiting on each step of the ladder. Funny thing is, I never felt like I wimped out. More so victorious for not succumbing to the peer pressure at that age

Thatâs why if you ever do jump from a cliff, find a heavy rock thatâs decent enough to throw into. If you see the rock hit bottom, then you know. Itâs not the greatest test but, itâs one. However, itâs not worth the risk if you really donât know.

It's not close at all, would be virtually impossible to create enough off axis torque to accidentally hit it. You'd have to run and jump off the edge.
Her splash is probably around 8 to 10 feet. That gap is probably like 40 feet. The perspective makes it look tighter than it is.

Thatâs why if you ever do jump from a cliff, find a heavy rock thatâs decent enough to throw into. If you see the rock hit bottom, then you know. Itâs not the greatest test but, itâs one. However, itâs not worth the risk if you really donât know.
