Hip pain after hip fracture- how long does it take to become painfree ?

This completely depends on the nature of your fracture. Your hip bone is divided into multiple parts - e.g. acetabulum, femur, femoral head, trochanter, etc. and each of these areas can sustain different kinds of damages.
So the answer to this question completely depends on you and the kind of surgery you receive, and how well your fracture is healing. So it's all very technical.
But the good news is, you can resume exercising after your fracture is healed. You can even engage in yoga and other lifestyle choices that you were following for your health.

But many of the undisplaced fractures can be treated without surgery

sir mera intertrochanterik fracture hai surgery ke 6 months ho chuke hai,,but surgery side something hip pain ho rahe hai,,or proper sleeping vi nhi le pata night me ,,so healing process kafi slow ho gya h,,,but I am trying change my sleeping time ,,so I want to know that kya AVN hone ke chances hai,,because now I am 32 years old.& after recovery after 2 year's if we will remove intramadularry nail then ye pehle jaisa healthy firse ho sakte hai ,,like pehle jaisa gym exercise football running ye sab activities kar sakte h,,mujhe actually kya karna chaye please tell me sir ,,ye just India me properly ap hi bata sakte hai,,

Sir, I saw some videos saying hip fracture in elderly is a death sentence and most people die within a year. Is it true ? My mother had a femoral hear fracture and avn after a fall. First xray was normal. After 5 days, when she was bed ridden, problem was diagonized and then after a few days she had a total hip replacement. Its been a month now. She's still walking with a walker. Any hopes or positive news sir ?
