Best settings for me (HP OMEN Laptop, GTX 1050, i5 7300HQ, 8GB RAM):
- Resolution: 1600x900
- All settings on lowest, except for Streaming Budget (set to max, 8GB VRAM)
Getting 55/70 FPS and the game still looks good.

Actually the best way to get most FPS is tune the adaptive supersampling to 100. Still play at 1080p

Anyone any idea why does my FPS waving between 120 and 30? it looks like it's forcing itself to go down to 30 FPS from 120 for a few seconds, tehn back up to 120.

This game had the worst optimization ever. I can play TF2 on high around 50-60fps on i5 6300hq and gtx950m but in apex i have 60fps on very low settings in 1366x768. Its so funny to hear about great optimization from people with a good pc )

Dude I think on high settings, the fps drops are because you set texture streaming budget to 6gb whereas the videocard has 4 gb vram only which is working the gpu hard

Use software nvidia geforce experiance, then click optimize, u will get fps 80-120. i using gtx 1050 4gb + i7 7700HQ + 8gb ram. But sometimes will drop to 60+ or 70+ fps. Dont worry it still playable with smooth.

Test it with the built-in Origin fps display. A friend of mine has a 1050 + i5-7300h and the game runs at a constant 60-70fps on 1920x1080, low settings (not ugly by any means tho). I have a 1060 + i7-7700hq and it runs at 80-90fps full high settings. You should be right between the two. Game will be pretty and smooth. :-)

You need to go in nvidia control panel, go to manage 3d settings, click on the 'applications' tab, add apex, save

@Izan Khan Well I did set it at the start of playing Apex so this is not an issue. The main issue was that I had to reduce resolution from FHD to HD and turn on Vsync in game and in nvidia control panel aswell with setting main GPU as main CUDA graphic processor. It solved bottlenecking and stuttering problem.

ve a configuracion de Nvidia, luego a panel de control Nvidia, luego controlar la configuracion 3d, luego en la pestaña configuracion de programa, añade el juego y elije procesador de alto rendimiento Nvidia. luego vuleve a correr el juego

Mr Øňě Ş I recently just played this game with a GTX 1050 in PS4’s equivalent settings (Mostly Medium with low and high elements), and I only got around 40-50 fps in 1080p :( At least it’s better than the Xbox One

I have a msi 1050 2gb and a run the game in high, 1080p 35-65fps AVG 45fps and in low 60-90fps... msi version of 1050 is a little bit better...
