There is zero need to produce this and there is already millions like him doing the same thing and seeing nothing wrong about it. If I will burn my car tires on my yard will you be equally "understanding"?

Such a cool idea. Not sure how I would like to have a wooden top gap holding my headset together 🤣 but they all still looked sick good work man 👌👊
The top cap doesn't actually hold it together; it just sets the load on the bearings until you tighten the stem pinch bolts, at which point the stem is what's holding it all together. With that said, I have a feeling a wooden top cap is going to break off if you crash and your bike lands upside-down.

I drilled the calve stem cover to the size of the actual cap then glued the cap into the wood. That way i have metal threads still.
Love the creativity , also I would love a tutorial on how to carve the leaf.

Your “other cable” is actually a hydraulic hose.

On your valve stem covers, just drill the hole larger to allow you to just glue in a plastic valve stem cap. Less chance of splitting the wood, destroying all the time you spent making it.
Yes, I was going to make this comment as well, with the addition that it seems that the wood could easily foul up a valve. Love the creativity of the project, though. 👍

You could try glueing in a metal valve cap, they are less than a dollar each online.

0:11 that looks like it wants to snap under load, resulting in a stem with no pressure holding it together, thus resulting in a total lack of control over the front end, and a big crash
