Since it's launch in 2005, the Bugatti Veyron has been regarded as a supercar of superlative quality. The development of the Veyron was one of the greatest technological challenges ever known in the automotive industry. With 1001 bhp, a top speed of 253mph and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds; the Veyron became the fastest production car ever made.
Bugatti set the benchmark even higher with the plan of turning the supercar into a luxury road car suitable for everyday use. Even ten years after it's launch, this supercar is still setting benchmarks and inspiring emotion and enthusiasm across the globe. Simply put, the Veyron is one of the greatest automobiles ever made.
The Bugatti Chiron Sport - described by Bugatti as ‘The Ultimate Super Sports Car’. Unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the Chiron Sport’s goal was to favour a track handling package setup without compromising on the luxurious character portrayed by the standard model. Boasting a firmer chassis and suspension setup with additional lightweight components over the standard Chiron, the handling dynamics have been refined and honed for track use, increasing agility. The firmer suspension coupled with upgraded damper technology grant the driver complete confidence when on track, with the car constantly providing feedback through the precise steering.
The headline for the Chiron Sport is weight saving. 18kg has been removed from the standard model through lighter wheel construction and a stiff carbon fibre anti-roll bar, which minimises understeer into corners. Any saving in weight makes a huge difference when a car is under load at high speed, which is exactly what the Chiron Sport was built for. These redesigned, lightweight components allow the Chiron Sport to be a more responsive car on track and with the torque vectoring feature introduced to the Sport, it handles like nothing else in its class. The W16 engine producing 1500hp launches the Chiron Sport from 0-62mph in 2.5 seconds, delivering inconceivable amounts of torque at the demand of your right foot. The four turbochargers mean power is available whenever you need it. The thinner glass between the cockpit and the engine allow the W16 symphony to be accentuated, with all four turbos adding to the drama of the 8.0L, 16-cylinder sound experience.
The exclusive ‘Noire Edition’ model was designed as a tribute to the Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic, created by Jean Bugatti, the eldest son of Ettore Bugatti. Only four were ever built, with one owned by Jean Bugatti himself. This legendary car has disappeared since the Second World War and it has since been stated that if found, it would be valued at over €100 million. Being 1 of 20 ever built, the Chiron Noire receives black exposed carbon fibre bodywork, with the front half receiving a matt finish whilst the rear features a traditional gloss finish. This has created an elegant and rare design, one that captures the attention of anyone fortunate enough to lay eyes upon it. ‘Noire’ inscription adorns the exterior side panel and door sill whilst a carbon fibre badge inlaid into the centre console, reminds you that you are part of a limited production. The Veyron seems curvier and sexier from behind. Seems better designed. And the gauges interior without any screens was genious. Whoever came up with that idea should be given a bonus.

Of these two cars. I like the Veyron lights, grille and wheels, rear lights and interior more. And i like the Chiron performance. A perfect one off would be a Veyron with a Chiron drivetrain. A Chyron.
They have the same drivetrain😂. The thing is that a Chiron is just more powerful and less limited😂. If you put in 50k into tuning you can easily get better figures than a Chiron

just a side note, The SSC's V-max wasn't over 300mph it was only just above the Koenigsegg Agera's record. The 316 claim was thrown out hence the re-run

I'm not interested in this apparent acceleration claim, as the SSC still hasn't reached global markets, of which I'll absolutely guarantee it'll fail to comply, so changes will be required "hence!" the world record claim for fastest production car/model is no more.
"Which" another fact is why previous record claims via SSC on previous models produced & ran have had there record titles stripped/wiped from them in a heart beat!!
I'm overall not interested in "the likely" american fan-boys replies so plz, if you opt to reply... plz make sure there factual & to the point.
also to the point the Bugatti "any model" have surpassed build quality standards & have maintained a global recognition for quality/drivability & so-on, the SSC I'm sure fail on every level as a drivers car OR a GT car, I'll also point out the cooling issues the SSC had during the record claims "that's not an overall good sign" other models via other manufacturers all suffer from high engine temps & they are supported via a capable cooling system, SSC seem to have reduced its ability to cool/maintain a cool running temp for weight savings "another not a very good sign for ppl to buy a car that's going to over heat very easily!"

Veyron has really come into its own after all these years. I think its nicer looking car than the Chiron!
This is actually a great question...In the future, which model will be the most desirable, especially after we have honestly moved beyond the ICE and are all (or mostly) electric? Which classic late-model ICE (Boog, or Ferrari, or Lambo, or Koenigsegg, or ???) will investor/collectors pine for the most? I'm going to say, with regards to these Boogs, low mile early Veyrons for certain, as well as some of the special edition Chirons coming out (I am assuming that the next major iteration by Bugatti will not utilize this 16 cyl behemoth, but some sort of hybrid). The "regular" Chirons probably not so much, as well as "well driven" Veyrons, but it'll be interesting to see what keeps its value, as well as if VW keeps the backing going for this brand after 2035...Also, a lot will depend on what tech come out in the future, esp with regards to the miniaturization of batteries, which will enable easier engine/motor "swaps" from ICE to electric, and perhaps even some interesting innovations which allow collectors to keep most of the original ICE components of the engines while swapping in electric replacements (think: miniaturized electric motors/components which drive the mechanical portions ICE engines, such as the pistons, rather than using combustion energy, thus enabling most of the original engines to remain intact...)
Personally feel like koenigsegg agera series will be most valued. With the way tgeur values are climbing, i can see them climbing even higher after ICE is relegated to weekend warriors. The same way horses were common and are now rare and expensive collector items.

Why does the chiron sport have fake exhaust pipes?! in the close up at 10:13 you can see the original exhaust behind it.
Its has six actual exhausts. The 4 you see and two on either side of the 4 tips facing down...
I think the GMA T50 is a better car... I want hit the limiter at 12,000RPM and change the gear through a manual lever! It can only happen in a T50!

I would rather buy an EB110 SS and send it back to Bugatti for $2 MIL for a complete refresh. Laser or LED headlights, Rear LED lights, and lightbar. Totally new custom interior dashboard and seats. Totally new modern engine and drivetrain. But retain the amazing SS original body. One off. Maybe worth millions afterward. But worth the investment to combine the new and old.

But if l, hypothetically, I were to buy one, it would be the Veyron.
Chiron might have the slight edge in performance, but it's not as good looking as the Veyron, and frankly just not as cool, and if you're buying one of these, I doubt it's for the track.

It’s finally official. Rimac, the Croatian electric hypercar start-up, will take control of Volkswagen’s Bugatti brand in a deal that cements its position as an established automotive force.
The new company will be called Bugatti Rimac and be led by Mate Rimac, who founded the eponymous group in 2009 in his garage and has grown it to become one of the industry’s most called-upon technology providers.
The company’s electric and battery systems have found their way into cars from Aston Martin and Pininfarina to Jaguar, and the racing arm of VW’s Seat brand.
Being controlled by an electric specialist is also a major departure for Bugatti, which markets its hypercars on 16-cylinder engines and guttural tones.
However, the advent of battery technology has led to speeds that even the most highly-tuned combustion vehicles struggle to match: the upcoming Rimac Nevera is expected to be the fastest model ever built, a title previously held by the Bugatti Chiron.
Both Bugatti and Rimac will continue developing their brands, and while Bugatti’s production will remain in France, all of its research will move into Rimac’s new headquarters in Croatia.
