Enjoy seeing you fish areas i used to fish 30/40 years ago and still get down to occasionally. Hard to believe I was ice fishing Chesuncook the week before.
Couple nice looking salmon
Fly rod is my preferred method. A couple of things that will help , one don’t cast with the wrist, , use your elbow and forearm. Slooooow down, rod movement is 12:00 to 3:00 o’clock .. Tip rod away from your body about 15 degrees.. start with about 25 feet f line , once you are comfortable with that then extend more. The line should roll over itself in a u bend , wait for it to straighten out before going to your forward cast , same thing on the back cast. . 80 percent of the fish you will catch will be within 30 feet. Your lawn is a good place to practice, tie a small piece of bright colored yarn on the leader as a practice sighter.

What's it cost for a weekend fishing? Love to take my 13 year old. Catch n release is fine for us. We have all camping gear, sleep n camp out of our SUV. Our own fishing gear.
Hiring either of you for a Guide for the weekend this spring/summer would be a priceless memories for my son, and I.
Unfortunately neither of us have our Fishing Guides license just yet so we’re not for hire. But stay updated as we have plans for the future!

What species of salmon? I’m north of you in Newfoundland Canada. We have some of the best Atlantic salmon fishing rivers in North America.
These are Landlocked Salmon! One day we’ll make it up your way to do some fishing, it’s on our wish list!
@@AGirlFromMaine I was curious if the Atlantics spawn in Maine as well. We have over 170 Lic Atlantic Salmon rivers on the island and several top world class rivers in Labrador, one being frequent by one your past presidents The Mighty EAGLE River.
