Can you connect multiple smartphones to the dashcam?
The quality of the video depends greatly how you encoded it before you uploaded it to CZcams. 16Mbit/s for a 1080p30fps video is quiet a lot. A normal 1080p30fps video can be easily encoded to 3,000 or 4,000Mbit/s without too much quality loss, so like I said, it depends on how you compressed the original file. But did I see something in that menu about maximum recording time 3 minutes? Or can it record longer? Also how about stabilization? I don't hear you about that, although judging your video the camera does shock and wobble like crazy.

the problem is when i load the app down it keeps asking to verify the terms and conditions and asks me to tick cant see where the tick is can you help me
as I'm watching this, mine is plugged in charging, and every few minutes it says "cannot perform this action". I hope that it doesn't always do this while I drive

How can I share a video after saving it to my phone I am having problems sharing
Download the app looks nothing like what you demonstrated. I get a message that they want me to allow access to my Facebook so they can share information about me. Not real happy about5 that I stopped the loading of the app. Any ideas what to do next? Your video made it look so easy.
But what to do when I connect it through wifi I have no internet connection only dash cam works but no internet

I was expecting the quality to be far worse than it is, especially for the price (£30 on Aliexpress). It’s oversharpened but for dash cam footage I’d say it’s probably preferable in order to see detail in the distance. Good night time performance too. Compression seems a bit crap but that’s likely CZcams’s fault. Isn’t too dark either. Watching dash cam compilation videos, you see a lot of footage that looks far worse than this

It must be plugged in. After disconnect, camera keeps recording for a few seconds.
Would you know if the dash cam can be dash mounted without the picture recording upside down?

Yeah, all dash cams do it. Soon has they have power, they turn on and start recoding automatically, and vice-versa when the power it cut out.
If the camera is connected straight to battery power it will never turn off. If it is connected to a switched input, like the key, it will turn on and off with the key.
Does it need to be connected to your phone to record or do you only need the phone to view footage and change settings?
Cam recoreder does not required screen for record. It recording it on sd card. But if you wish to see it in real time you will have to connect to cam wifi

Recently just bought it, its international version.
But why the voice command can only response to 'take picture' & 'record video'?
The other commands like ' record with sound' & 'turn on wifi' is not working.

Hi. Please check minute 2:05. I think only take picture and record video voice commands are available for this model.
@@Ryaniwk Yup, you're right. I've just browsed everywhere & looking at the manual guide for different version.
It seems like 1s is an upgrade version of 70mai international version in 2019. The image sensor have some improvement, but for some reason the voice commands are cut into just 2 commands (6 commands in the earlier version).
Has anyone tried the hardwire kit to directly connect it to the fuse box?

hello, it's possible to remove only the camera from the windscreen and put it there again next day ? i would like to hide it over the night.
You need to undo the screw on the mount I order to remove the camera. The mount will stay on the windscreen.

Video quality is good. Sound and voice control needs to be reset if camera is turned off, which is annoying. Audio is lost from video clips when downloaded and played in apps other than the Mai app. Only paid $30+ for it though, so can't complain to much.

Can I use the dash cam for 9-10 hours continuous recording and saving that video on one single file?
The camera will create several clips of 1, 2 or 3 min, depending on your settings. It will overwrite the older files on a loop, non stop.

All dashcams worked the same way. You can turn off the loop and get the biggest sd card the camera accepts. Just in case one card gets full, get 2 cards. Depending on the resolution you choose and the card size you should be able to get a lot of footage in one card ;)
You can always stick all 3min clip into one big file, with video editor on PC.
This is Dash cam, it's main purpose is for recording accidents on the road, so small files are need for easy look up.
If you need one single file come out right from the camera, this is not the camera you need. Go find an action cam like Gopro.
Nice review! I can't get enthousiastic about the quality of the video in daylight.. very poor (dramatically poor color and contrast). But in your evening footage it seems to give a very decent image. All-in-all good enough quality to capture an accident, but not the best if you want to capture fine details on your journeys.

Fear not, mate! I get what you are saying but this is a dashcam, it supposes to deal with shaking and vibrations and I was holding the plastic case around the lens. No dashcams were harmed during this review :)

The dashcam can record for hours depending on the card you put on. The camera has 3 settings it only records in loops of 1,2or 3 minutes.

@@pocttopus4598 No, there are only loop recording options. It's more convenient for viewing and file transfer process. 1min video is over 100MB without audio.

I assume that you cannot record a long trip because of the sd card.
@@pocttopus4598 I've a 64GB card, moreover any incident may only last from a few seconds to a few minutes. You might be looking for an action camera, there are action cameras with dash cam features. For me hours of driving footage is not important. Just the few moments of proof if an incident occurs and making sure the first loop doesn't get over written when the card fills in case of a long drive. I think DDPAI dashcams can merge videos into bigger durations, I'm not so sure.
