    Thank you for posting this. I was at this game! My only Jordan game and the biggest ovation of the night was when Jordan checked back into the game after they thought he was injured. I look forward to watching this over again when I have more time. Thanks again.

    It was basketball...no easy points, the current NBA has completely let go in entertainment, results, they are struggling to beat South Sudan.

      These commercials are from March 1995. So when MJ announced his infamous “I’m Back!” Chicago Sports Channel a few days later had a 24 hours straight marathon of old MJ Bulls games & I made sure to tape all of them.

    1st playoff series matchup between Wilkins and Jordan in 1993. Bulls won the series 3-0

    Those hawks jerseys are kinda raunch, but the classic Nique hawks jersey is still an all time favorite jersey of mine. Top 5 favorite player of mine too. I like that old hawks logo.

    Anyone else miss best of 5 in the first round?

      I absolutely do! The team with home court advantage had immense pressure to win those first 2 games. It was just a much more exciting way to start the playoffs.

    Jon koncack 🤦‍♂️. He literally didnt belong out there. Thats one player who somehow managed to stay around despite having absolutely no skill.lol. He just couldn't produce anything in the nba and yet here he is STARTING in an nba playoff game

      John "Contract." LOL, I remember that name for him after that (then) insane deal he signed in 1989. He signed the modern equivalent (2024 dollars) to a $49M/6yr deal back then. That was for averaging 3ppg off the bench.

      NBA owners were dumb back then (they have wised up somewhat now) . They believed that just because someone was big and tall coming into the league that they were destined to be a star like a Shawn Bradley, Manute Bol etc. Anybody who has watched this sport knows that to really shell out money for anybody they should actually you know watch them play, check out numbers, etc. That will save you a lot of time and money.

    • @Illtechnica
      @Illtechnica Před 14 dny +2

      @@steve9473 NBA owners are still dumb, if not worse today. If not, Adam Silver wouldn't have to manipulate the CBA to increase parity in the NBA because the players figured out the front offices were largely incompetent. And pooling player resources to franchises who knew what they were doing (i.e.; Miami) was creating a competitive imbalance. And exposing teams that didn't know what they were doing. Now, power teams can't stay together as long unless you get VERY lucky in the draft (i.e.; Boston) and sign all your young players after a championship. At that point, you don't care about hitting the 2nd apron.
