I'm glad her lies and her running from her crime into another state was mentioned, but the judge is making a heavy load for her own back. When convicts identify they can lie to the court and do a runner they will just decide it pays to lie and run. If not punished for her indiscretions makes a mockery of the court. She lies for the sake of lying eve to the face of a sitting judge, she should be charged with perjury and for absconding from justice. Judges have become to soft, but mainly due to state rules on sentencing getting softer. Her initial crime endangered others lives as well as her own. She deserves a long stay in prison so she has plenty of time to think about what she did.

She didn’t had a dui, no dealing, just a consumer.
She has huge problems, those problems are trauma and addiction and jail does nothing for her!
The American for profit prison system is just ridiculous and does not fit to the judicial system of a first world country, it’s more similar to countries like Afghanistan!
And you see, you Americans have the biggest addiction issues of all first world problems and it’s due to the stupid rules of jailing people and ruining their lives and jobs over it and the extremely bad healthcare which also affects mental health!
Homeless camps full of addicted people are only a thing in the USA, but in no other first world country (Canada a bit, but that’s basically also the USA. Something like this would never be possible in Europe!)
You have to get your broken society in order and stop the for profit jailing of people who did nothing but harming themselves due to drug use, but use that jail money and give them a proper treatment!
The things that are considered treatment in the USA is just a joke! Those state rehab facilities are nothing but jails with a differe name, their concept does not work!
I really hope that you can repair your extremely broken society, you once where the beste country in the world with the highest standards of living and now it’s nothing but a mess and everybody but the rich are suffering!
You barely even have a middle class and upper middle class left.
Only the rich and the poor. It’s absolutely frightening and I’m very grateful that my country (still) has a good middle class and I’m fortunate enough to have a good paying job as an engineer and good healthcare without selling my complete soul and body to a corporation.

This young woman is a real treat. Alaska? Colorado? Kansas? Gets arrested while on Zoom with the court. Where’s the sheriff that usually sits in? One judge questioned if she is being trafficked because of her living with a variety of older men. Who knows? She was asked, and (of course) said, “no.” She’s very, very lucky that she doesn’t have the same judge (Judge Webster) as she’s had before. Meanwhile, her mom lost (returned?) at least $7500 because of her bail jumping. She has such a way about her & is a manipulator…be very careful! Can’t believe she’s going to be given the chance to bail out…. (Her mom is an enabler.)
