Because there is an inherent bias in the system. The laws continue to favor women, even though they are capable of working. In time past, women worked as “homemakers.” The laws have yet to make this bias equal. Women want equal rights, so they should have equality across the board. His house… his kids… she didn’t and doesn’t work. Her 5 year vacation is over. She may be rethinking her decision to divorce.

He was smart enough to get a lawyer, which was a good move on his part. He is Primary/ Custodian of the children, and she didn't get alimony or the home. But she became the non-custodian parent, I don't think she saw that one coming.
None of that matters and judges will normally side with the woman no matter how terrible they obviously are. This is one of the few times i have seen actual justice come out of a courtroom, but the sad thing is she will likely borrow money from someone to get a lawyer and have all of this reversed. We are supposed to be equal but women enjoy MANY benefits from our legal system and commonly cheat on men, have a court render the men unable to support themselves, and throw them to the wolves/threaten them with consequences constantly if they fail to meet the ex's demands. Except that she didn't point out he shouldn't be paying anything in child support since the kids live with him 50% of the time. Child support is for non-custodial parents. That means a parent where the child only lives with them 30% of the time. That's why child support is 20% of income. 20 + 30 equals 50. His lawyer should have pointed out he shouldn't be paying this woman anything!

The Judge did the right thing by booting her out! But the Judge should have done more. IMO, the Judge should have given him full custody of his kids, until she can show she can support herself at a minimum. You have to remember, this lady doesn't even work. Unless her new boyfriend can support her, she likely going to homeless or in housing which will likely be too small for all her kids and boyfriend.
He isn’t paying her child support. He is paying the state back for part of the welfare his wife and her kids are getting from the state. I think that was the TANF reference. (Yep. I checked. The internet says this is a Washington state program Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.) That is why the state statute assumes only 32 hours per week and minimum wage for his wife and doesn’t allow home credit.
As crazy as it sounds, even with split custody the party making the money would be required to pay support if the other one has no income. Min boggling but true

IMHO, being she has no way to support herself, and there's no issue with domestic violence on his part. He should get 100% custody of his kids. When she can support herself, with a job, and are able to see the kids, she can the petition the court for some kind of custody.

Women use this lie all the time to gain more financial support. The courts automatically take them at their word, with zero evidence. I had this happen to me. Had to jump through all kinds of hoops.. Had to pay for psych evaluations, and all kinds of crap. And because my income was higher, I not only had to pay for mine, but hers too! This was already on top of the CS I was paying. IMO, it should have stopped when her psych eval came to non-conclusive, but nope. The courts just kept wanting and trying to give her custody.. Until I got a new Judge that put a stop to it.
My favorite is how she says he raped her but she didn't cry out, didn't say anything, didn't tell him to stop, nothing. Now she's claiming that she did but clearly the judge isn't buying it. Especially with how she's acting. A woman who has been raped doesn't go out and have sex with another man and get pregnant. They stop having sex for a time and have intimacy issues usually. And they often are very fidgety and nervous. She looked entirely calm and self-controlled.
The mortgage was probably in his name. Unless he wants to really mess up his credit and lose whatever equity that was in the house, he was pretty much forced to keep paying.

Im a single father of 2 with full custody since 2019. I can tell you first hand its sooo hard to not get screwed in family court. My childrens mother had a felony warrant in CA. A no show warrant in Oregon. 4 seperate methamphetamine charges and was in a relationship with a convicted felon. You would think it was a open and shut case for custody...... It wasnt. It took over a year to get custody and to this day she has not payed a dime in child support. It wasnt until i proved she had stolen my credit card and was arrested (the court ordered me to give 2 nights a week with them unsupervised) in a hotel room with another convicted felon, a stole car in their possesion, meth in plane site in the hotel room and stolen credit card information (multiple... not just mine) that i was given full custody and full ownership of all marital property except a car. I was still forced to pay $22,700 in her credit card debt and like i said earlier never have gotten a cent in child support. Im so glad to see a judge not leaning on the side of the mother but rarher making the best decision for the children. Great judge!!!!
I have a brother that was doing the same thing living with a married woman and her husband’s house. I have no sympathy for her getting pregnant - that’s her problem not his. I sympathize completely with the ex-husband. He shouldn’t be on the hook for this floozy’s indiscretions.
So, he pays for ALL expenses involving the house and the people living there (inclusive kids that are not his, and the new boyfriend of his ex), BUT can`t live there AND also does get no credit for it so that he ADITIONALLY has to pay 1000 bucks in child support for his children? (And alimony, if his ex got it her way!) No wonder the judge finds this outrageos. This said, there are some judges out there that not only would allow it, but would crucify the dad for his alleged "abuse" This man at least has a chanche.......... You brother does have responsibility to the child he fathered no matter the circumstances. That said I do agree women in general have a higher degree of responsibility when it comes to sex and who they have it with. Men are consistent, anytime, anywhere any woman. Women must remember they are the ones who get pregnant, carry and raise the child if father disappears. I this case I see the moved in boyfriend disappearing when his free room, board & bed partner evaporate. After the Judges ruling for her to move out I would not put it past this woman to turn the charm back on and try to get back into good graces with her husband. Which is a huge flaw with the system IMO. Your ability to get a fair and reasonable out come shouldn't come down to your ability to pay for a lawyer. For some context I knew someone whose lawyer dropped her because he moved to a bigger firm that required a 10000 retainer be maintained at all time. While he was her lawyer he botched her case because frankly he was overworked, stretched thin and working for peanuts. Her ex on the other hand got a great lawyer. Not the best he could afford but the best she could afford. Imagine being told by a judge that you not only loss but that you need to come up with a little over 1000 to pay your unemployed ex husband's legal fees or go directly to jail.

Wrong. Child support is based on income and factors in the time spent with both parents, among other factors. The goal is to equalize the households. But listen to how the State lady said they imputed the wife income based on minimum wage at 32 hours a week. They don’t tolerate parents not working anymore.

This is insane I’ve never heard a court do this. In Minnesota the judge would have ordered that man to pay for the new boyfriend, the baby, his mother and whoever else she wanted to come live in the house. Glad there’s some hope for justice somewhere left in this country.

I'm the mom I made $30,000 a year 2 kids full custody because Dad did not want any responsibility .Dad made $80,000 a year as a plant manager his child support amount was $167 per month . I owned the home prior to the relationship and I also cover all dental and medical premiums and out of pocket. We had a female judge .

The Judge did the right thing by booting her out! But the Judge should have done more. IMO, the Judge should have given him full custody of his kids, until she can show she can support herself at a minimum. You have to remember, this lady doesn't even work. Unless her new boyfriend can support her, she likely going to homeless or in housing which will likely be too small for all her kids and boyfriend.
He isn’t paying her child support. He is paying the state back for part of the welfare his wife and her kids are getting from the state. I think that was the TANF reference. (Yep. I checked. The internet says this is a Washington state program Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.) That is why the state statute assumes only 32 hours per week and minimum wage for his wife and doesn’t allow home credit.

IMHO, being she has no way to support herself, and there's no issue with domestic violence on his part. He should get 100% custody of his kids. When she can support herself, with a job, and are able to see the kids, she can the petition the court for some kind of custody.

Women use this lie all the time to gain more financial support. The courts automatically take them at their word, with zero evidence. I had this happen to me. Had to jump through all kinds of hoops.. Had to pay for psych evaluations, and all kinds of crap. And because my income was higher, I not only had to pay for mine, but hers too! This was already on top of the CS I was paying. IMO, it should have stopped when her psych eval came to non-conclusive, but nope. The courts just kept wanting and trying to give her custody.. Until I got a new Judge that put a stop to it.
My favorite is how she says he raped her but she didn't cry out, didn't say anything, didn't tell him to stop, nothing. Now she's claiming that she did but clearly the judge isn't buying it. Especially with how she's acting. A woman who has been raped doesn't go out and have sex with another man and get pregnant. They stop having sex for a time and have intimacy issues usually. And they often are very fidgety and nervous. She looked entirely calm and self-controlled.

Im a single father of 2 with full custody since 2019. I can tell you first hand its sooo hard to not get screwed in family court. My childrens mother had a felony warrant in CA. A no show warrant in Oregon. 4 seperate methamphetamine charges and was in a relationship with a convicted felon. You would think it was a open and shut case for custody...... It wasnt. It took over a year to get custody and to this day she has not payed a dime in child support. It wasnt until i proved she had stolen my credit card and was arrested (the court ordered me to give 2 nights a week with them unsupervised) in a hotel room with another convicted felon, a stole car in their possesion, meth in plane site in the hotel room and stolen credit card information (multiple... not just mine) that i was given full custody and full ownership of all marital property except a car. I was still forced to pay $22,700 in her credit card debt and like i said earlier never have gotten a cent in child support. Im so glad to see a judge not leaning on the side of the mother but rarher making the best decision for the children. Great judge!!!!

So, he pays for ALL expenses involving the house and the people living there (inclusive kids that are not his, and the new boyfriend of his ex), BUT can`t live there AND also does get no credit for it so that he ADITIONALLY has to pay 1000 bucks in child support for his children? After the Judges ruling for her to move out I would not put it past this woman to turn the charm back on and try to get back into good graces with her husband. Which is a huge flaw with the system IMO. Your ability to get a fair and reasonable out come shouldn't come down to your ability to pay for a lawyer. For some context I knew someone whose lawyer dropped her because he moved to a bigger firm that required a 10000 retainer be maintained at all time. While he was her lawyer he botched her case because frankly he was overworked, stretched thin and working for peanuts. Her ex on the other hand got a great lawyer. Not the best he could afford but the best she could afford. Imagine being told by a judge that you not only loss but that you need to come up with a little over 1000 to pay your unemployed ex husband's legal fees or go directly to jail.
She should be charged with benefit fraud. She is not eligible for TANF.

But listen to how the State lady said they imputed the wife income based on minimum wage at 32 hours a week. They don’t tolerate parents not working anymore.

Well she was a sahm. Her job was taking care of the kids for years. So she still should get "paid" for taking care of the kids after the divorce. However she messed up when she cheated and got pregnant with another man while still married.

To think be able to stay at home and raise your kids is a privilege, yet too many ppl who do that get bored with their lives and feel they deserve something better and end up cheating on their significant other.
Now I’m not saying that it is a bad thing to be a stay at home parent as my mom was one for half my childhood after she had my siblings and once I got into middle school she went back to work part time & then full time.
However that was only because my dad had a good job and work a lot and also did side work on weekends and what not doing repair work. So if my parents had split you think my dad should of continued to work all the time if my mom had decided that she didn’t want to work and just leech off of him?!?!?
I love my mother and would put her up against any mother on the planet, however she didn’t need to stay at home and if she had been a woman like this woman I would have lots a ton of respect for her and prolly would also have lost a ton of respect for women in general as a consequence of her actions. Which is something that only seeing how entitled & bad modern women r these days that has me questioning in way I never really thought possible.

This is insane I’ve never heard a court do this. In Minnesota the judge would have ordered that man to pay for the new boyfriend, the baby, his mother and whoever else she wanted to come live in the house. Glad there’s some hope for justice somewhere left in this country.
It all depends where you live in Minnesota. I'm the mom I made $30,000 a year 2 kids full custody because Dad did not want any responsibility .Dad made $80,000 a year as a plant manager his child support amount was $167 per month . I owned the home prior to the relationship and I also cover all dental and medical premiums and out of pocket. We had a female judge .
That's been gradually changing for the past several years due to increased awareness of the skewed family court system.
