The headroom is about the same - I think it’s more of the tonal differences you are picking out. The Benson/Webber (stock speaker) is a little more smooth and silky whereas the F30 has a little more chime and sizzle on the breakup. Both are excellent speakers and flavors.
Both are not a bummer! But yes this one has an extremely unique chime and top end clarity and big lows. But what is nice about the original Benson speaker is it's warm, and round top end with unique grit. It's still a house favorite.

Kind of prefer the F30 over the chimera with how the demos sound. The Chimera got distorted super fast.

What amps did you pair this with?
That is the same question I had using the ACS1 what is the recommended amp to set it with? Fender style amp?
Look at the bottom right corner. They captured using the iridium “round” setting, so fender style
I wish I got this one instead but demos weren’t out yet. So much sizzle on this one…
