Todd Gurley and Tre Mason will be one of the most dangerous Running Back tandems in the league. Then you have Nick Foles slinging the rock to a young, talented WR/TE squad with: Kenny Britt, Brian Quick, Tavon Austin, Steadman Bailey, Jared Cook, and Lance Kendricks. And don't forget, Todd Gurley returning kicks, Tavon Austin returning punts, with Greg Zuerlein and Johhny Hekker being the strongest legs in the league. I don't even need to talk about the Defense. If this young roster hits it's potential...then WOW.
Dan Najera I think the Rams could be good, but let's pump the brakes. Even if this team plays to their potential, they're still fighting with the Cards to be the Second best. The Cards are better everywhere except for D-line and RB. They have better WR's better QB, better defense overall. Austin at this point is a certifiable bust. He can't run routes and seems to disappear a lot. Cook needs to get over his temper and Britt still hasn't played up to his billing. The Gurley pick gives them the next potential AP, but Foles is not the answer for them at QB and their LB and DB corps are not good.
ContinentalGT100 a few key players left that Cardinals D this off season, The rams lost literally nobody and signed 2 Good Free agents this year. DT Nick Fairley(lions) and LB Akeem Ayers(patriots)
both very solid starters, They were looking way better towards the end of the season compared to the start, if it only had to do with getting used to the new scheme under Greg Williams then the Rams D should start off a-lot better this year. Nobody stays the best forever and i'm thinking the Rams could easily be a top 5 D this year, possibly becoming better than the Cards D this season.
chronic tonic Yes, the defenses will be competitive, but the offenses aren't comparable. If the Cards can manufacture a running game, they will have a much better offense. The loses they've suffered will be mitigated by the (probable) return of Washington.

Been hearing about Gurly for the last 2 years. Never watched him play saw the usual espn highlights on him. Watching Preseason game Rams Vs Titans. Decided 2 come 2 youtube just 2 see what he's about. 1st thing that popped up was he runs 2 straight up and leaves his legs exposed. IMO This guy is a Major injury waiting 2 happen. Hopefully im wrong and he shreds the league. Time will tell....

Wanted WR White but the Bears had same plans. I was ok with Mason and felt we should have gone with best available OL. However, you can't go wrong with this pick. Gurley is big and fast and is a definite upgrade to the position. With a suspect OL, hopefully he'll stay healthy and doesn't become a regrettable pick.

Some fans said the falcons should have picked gurleyinstead of beasley but that's just stupid. They need pass rush and they still got a good running back in the 3rd round so this was a much smarter strategy. You can still find running backs late but pass rushers are gone because everybody wants them :).

I'm not sure if he can handle the running back position. He'll get injured to often, he needs to be a wide reciever or a full time returner if he wants to stay healthy.

Tim Choy If you pay attention to any of these highlights you'll see him, not only change direction when needed, but create his own holes if the original hole wasn't there. If you've never played the RB position how are you gonna say what his vision is like ?
