Is SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY What Fans Wanted!?

- The new South Park game HAS BEEN REVEALED and it is… NOT what people expected it to be. Certainly not what I expected it to be. After much speculation and lead up, we were shown South Park: Snow Day, a 3D co-op multiplayer game, a far cry from the 2.5D RPGs we were given previously. But what exactly IS South Park: Snow Day? What can we expect out of this massive departure from the previous entries? Are MOST fans upset, or just a vocal minority? And are they right to feel that way? Let’s dive into it.

i think the main issue is really just the coloring, there needs to be a toon shader on the models that match the vibrant saturated tones of the tv show
That’s what I’m saying, it looks dull and lifeless ngl
If they do the vtuber/chainsaw man 3d but looks 2d
It might be trailer specific color grading tbf
agreed
I think this was just to hype up the snow day/fireballs from the sky vibe. I wouldnt expect the game to be just this tone
One of my favorite things about the first two games was how it looked like the show
The first game was 3D
@@Radcon91You know he meant Stick of Truth, shut up.
@Radcon91 obviously not talking about the very first SP game dork
@cotopaximusic Obviously, they said "the first two games." Therefore, anyone that's not a thick fuk will know what the first two games are. Also, Dork?. You still in nursery little bum bum head?. 🤣🤣🤣
@@Radcon91trey and Matt didn’t make that
Yeah from the Fractured But Whole ending with Butters indicated going towards a villain arc for the new kid, this was kind of a surprise. So, i wonder if this is just a side project that they wanted to have fun with and put out there while still making the other game? The game looks like it would be fun, but definitely hope theyre also working on the villain arc for the new kid.
I hope this is the case, it would make for a fun story.
@@Sprizys I mean, honestly, they've been doing a lot the past years. With the concert, Casa Bonita and renovating, and hiring people and opening it, and still doing the show, they probably just want to do something small to have fun with while still having the other game worked on to give their fans something to play in the mean time.
Probably side project to make money cheaply
Ohhhh yeah, I'd love to see that
@@heatherm2388they also do the large specials every year for paramount ofc
My biggest concern is if it doesn't have a plot like the two previous games, i love having the characters interact with each other, doing side quests and unraveling the story as the game progresses, i fear it may be just a bunch of different levels you can play.
When I saw the trailer, I assumed it was something for mobile gaming. Unless this is a side project before the next big RPG, it looks like a huge step back. Really strange, since Matt and Trey are super protective of their brand are are really reliable when it comes to producing quality.
Agreed :/
Well they did release Phone Destroyer huge pay to win game, with a lot of bugs when it was first released.
same It looks lame...I wish it was a full game not just a coop pvp thing..I can already see gamepass and skins shop ewww
It's an announcement trailer. There is likely going to be a lot of change by the time it releases
The writing will probably carry this, but this will def be good
While I’m definitely willing to give Snow Day a chance, a concern I have for this game is the fact that it’ll just be forgotten within a few weeks or so or even just shafted to the side like Phone Destroyer
The thing with SOT and TFBW is that there was a main objectives and a story, and those games were well loved and remembered by fans. I don’t want to entirely judge this game right away by the trailer but I feel like if it doesn’t have a story or something of a charm that those previous games had, it won’t be remembered as much but missed opportunities
I wanted more RPG shenanigans and such, not this. A bit sad this is what they've been working on. I am willing to give it a chance, but as you said it'll be a game I fear people will forget in 2-3 weeks.
I mean it's obviously a direct sequel to the last game - I doubt they would spend this much time on a console game with no story. why would anyone compare a phone app game to a full on console game
@@theinudemon I think something that could work is mini stories/quests like the ones in the TFBW DLC yk?? Something that won’t affect the game entirely but it’ll at least be fun!
I personally have hope for it, but admittedly, my South Parking has been limited to the RPGS, and SOME episodes of the show + the movie. So stuff like the Nueva Familia is gonna go RIGHT over my head. Plus, I'm also unable to really do the multiplayer when it comes down to that.
I agree, look at games like Dragon Ball: The Breakers. It was fun the first couple months or so but then everyone just sort of forgot about it and now its seen as a complete failure now. If this game does the wrong thing it could end up like it
My major concern was it being a multiplayer only. I'm glad to hear its Co-Op, and single player.
id be intrested to see what the kids say for the new kids friends (like newer kid or something)
Right! Initially, I thought it was a battle royale, which got me extremely concerned. However, if it's also playable in single-player mode, I believe I'm going to thoroughly enjoy it. I'll probably play with friends as well, but the single-player RPG aspect is what I loved in the previous games. The graphics are ok. I don't think the 3D style will be an issue for me. I genuinely hope that this game will capture the same sense of immersion that the previous two games achieved. I'm looking forward to this!
Oh thank go. I don't have friends. XD
@ricktheredbrickAre *you* STUPID? We've absolutely had coop only games with story modes releasing in the last few years. Payday 3, Back 4 Blood and Darktide on release. Only an idiot wouldn't be worried in the current market.
The 3D style is weird to see. I really like your idea of simulating the style of the more modern intro. Also, it being multiplayer is a big bummer for me. I prefer playing singleplayer games. I hope there is at least an option to play singleplayer.
I have such mixed feelings, the graphics will have to grow on me and I’m really gonna miss that “in the show” feeling, new kids look kinda cute and multiplayer with a story sounds super fun but the first two games have this beautiful style to them that if not replicated in story will just disappoint
Let’s hope they make another rpg game after this! They probably will
oh my gosh your icon from ruby gloom gave me so much nostalgia
@@Parasolhyena dude I love it sm it made my childhood 🙏
Pretty much agree with most of the points you make here; the art style is definitely going to need some getting used to. When I heard the next game was going 3D, I thought they'd either do like you said and go for the papercraft look of the intro, or maybe try something like 2007's Simpsons Game and make heavy use of cell-shading to maintain a 2D look in a 3D world. But, as you point out with the footage of the cancelled game, it could have been a lot worse. And they do at least animate as if they're still 2D cutouts, which I find quite amusing - almost makes it look like the characters don't fully realise they have a whole extra dimension to move in!
And likewise, I'm not too keen on the co-op brawler style gameplay. There have been tie-in games for shows I've been much more excited for that also went for that kind of gameplay, and its just never gripped me. Might skip this one myself, but I hope people who do like that kind of gameplay get a fun experience.
The 3d models and animation really remind me of a Rankin/Bass holiday special, which I think fits to the Snow Day vibe (along with the first South Park Game reference). I'm personally looking forward to it and am shocked that a bunch of people have "an issue" with the art style
I was honestly really hoping for another game like tfbh because in the end of the game butters tells you to join the villians and I was expecting a more villian themed game next, but I'm still exited to see what they do with the story
wait what? I don't remember this moment
@@Charlie_Probably It was after the credits.
The Italian restaurant is actually Cafe Monet, a very minor coffee shop (albeit missing the sign, probably due to early development). You can tell by the roof design.
Oh damn you might actually be right
South Park's Italian place is "Buca De Faggoncini". :P
@@barrettfenwick8028 I know, I was saying what Johnny thought was BDF in the video was actually Cafe Monet.
My only complaint I have with the theme is a different genre. I wish instead of being the medieval theme, I kinda wish it was a star wars theme or a pirates vs navy theme (if ykyk) or any other theme than just reusing the same genre from a previous game. But it is what it is, I am excited for this game!
Cops and Robbers style is possible. Like the Mexican Border control episode. Cowboys and Indians. Ninja samurai. Lots of options.
I agree that is one issue I have too I wish they expanded past the fighters of zaron.
i would love to see more done with the goth kids, like the DLC but way more indepth. Say the Hot Topic comes back and the entire town is thrust into "darkness", everyone turns goth/emo and its up to New Kid to get everyone back to normal. i would live for that 😂 Get Edgar Allen Poe as a ultimate, Cthulu is the end game boss, Henrietta is the mayor and enslaves her parents, Firkle is a complete maniac, like omg i have so many ideas.... plus id just love to see Cartman and Kyle as goth kids lol
Yeah I wish they went with a space theme or something
I have a feeling it'll most likely release around chrstmas especially since its heavily winter based with the fighting arena used for the teaser is a chrstmas arena as a possibe hint.
I'm really not sure what to think of it. On one hand I trust Matt and Trey to make this great, on the other hand I fear that it will be focused on co-op too much and that the game will barely be fun alone. I think it looks like it could be a twin-stick shooter like Magicka or Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.
I'm interested to see where this goes. The last 2 games are favorites. Im hoping this can be played as a single player also.
Is South Park snow day what I wanted? No
Is South Park snow day what I’ll accept? Fuck yea
We very much need more variety with the games which is exactly what this is giving us
I loved the N64 game as a kid, it’s such a lost memory, and this just brought back a bunch of them. Gonna be following all the news on Snow Day because I have to know where my beloved new kid character is going.
I like the idea of the 3D being more like the opening sequence then what is shown. It’s early and hoping it looks cleaned up by release. Super worried that it will be too co-op based and be boring to play alone. I have confidence in Matt and Trey, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little skeptical. I’d much rather have another RPG but understand they want to mix it up
Cannot explain the excitement that rushed through my body when I saw this game. I don’t even think it’s a game genre I like, but my love for the IP has me willing to dive into a whole new world I’ve never experienced, in the theme of South Park ❤🎉
Apparently its just a bonus game, and not the 3rd entry in the story
I think the style is really cute - it reminds me of the Kid Robot figurines. I was comparing my Grand Wizard Cartman figure to the trailer and I think they did a good job, it just needs a bit of polishing. But considering this is our first ever look at the game, that's totally fine.
I think it was super neat that you pointed out the rearranged town, and am very excited to see what it looks like. I'm hoping for more interest and density in South Park, kind of like it was in the Superhero trilogy in season 14.
Though with the emphasis on Christmas, I think I nailed the timing of Winter/ Holiday 2024 release in my prediction. So hey, that'll be fun!!
It's not what I was expecting the game to be like at all, but I don't think that's a bad thing.
I like that they're changing up the style and experimenting even more with each new title, and the idea of exploring a fully 3D South Park with friends in a game that's probably gonna be more similar to isometric action RPGs like Diablo. It sounds awesome to me.
I just hope it keeps the spirt oft previous 2 games
Based on the multiplayer it could have diffrent modes
A story mode
And online mode
But that’s only based on multiplayer
And I hope it isn’t only fantasy
More like phone destroyer ( where it has diffrent genres in one game not mobile )
I have full Faith in Matt and Trey that Snow Day will be another Gem to stand alongside Fractured But Whole and Stick of Truth.
But I am still sad that it’s probably not gonna be an RPG style gameplay.
@@ricktheredbrick how so?
Im personally super excited for Snow Day. Matt and Trey have complained a lot about how the very first games (the racing one an the turkey one) turned out. theyre very set on quality and havent disappointed us before despite people being anxious before the other games releases as well. Im optimistic, and for one find the 3D art style pretty fun. it reminds me of when you see a bootleg plushie and you just have to buy it cause its just.. odd. its goofy yet charming in a strange way. people say it looks bad but it looks very similar to the youtooz and kidrobot figures which people LOVE. and people also tend to focus on the 3D part, which was a huge part of the reveal but i think the other aspects arent talked about enough. I think you highlighted the map changes, customization, and attacks greatly! i havent seen anyone talk about those parts which I think could ultimately save the game.. it overall looks super cool despite the genre change
As someone who grew up in a Colorado ski town we never had snow days because the snow clearing was just so good that we could get three feet of snow and still go to school haha the only snow day we got was when it was too cold for the buses to start at around -40 Fahrenheit so no one 😂as going outside anyways lol
Most of the SP games before Stick of Truth were 3D. The problem is that most of them weren't received well and they didn't have Trey and Matt involved in them. So with them being involved in this one makes me extremely curious to see what they'll do with a 3D game, especially as a massive fan of SoT and FBW. I'm optmistic.
@@derbettnasser4027That’s what made them stick out from other show to video game adaptations.
@@derbettnasser4027what’s a bad idea?
Probably not because most were expecting a direct follow-up of the recent RPGs, but let's wait and see what this new one offers.
I was very concerned by the trailer, it's a massive farcry from what I wanted. But it's way too early to know for sure so I'll put my faith in Matt and Trey for it to be just as good as the previous 2 games.
Hoping they take inspiration from borderlands. Having unique roles and many rpg elements, like a skill tree, looting, and side quests. There is so much potential to tell great stories with that template in the South Park world while also building on the knowledge from previous games that they have already. I’m excited to see how the game will turn out!
When I hear "Co-op Multiplayer", BL is what I am expecting...that would be awesome for South Park.
I think the game is going to be good but a lot diffrent then the firsts game. It will be a lot of fun playing with friends
I have a theory on why every character in the co-op is a new kid. We already know that New Kids farts can break time, but what about space? New Kid could have farted so hard that they ripped hole in space that allowed new kids from other timelines into his timeline. We saw something similar in TFBW where he uses a fart to summon a younger version of himself.
If you have any doubt, remember: The last two games they put out were SO AWESOME I played each of them at least three times. They are just so well done. There's no doubt that this is going to kick ass.
As long as they are actually involved like those two games... THAT'S my concern. At any rate, the quality that they bring to the table has not been matched by the game devs they've worked with before and they deserve better. For Stick of Truth apparently they showed up to the first meeting with a script that was a thousand pages long and couldn't do half the things they wanted to.
Very few games have been able to pull of comedy, and these assholes out of the gate blew away anything that had been done previously. I know that is their specialty, but imagine having never done anything with video games before and your first attempt elevates the medium to new heights... that is a HUGE deal. I say hire the bastards that made Baldur's Gate 3 and then the gameplay would be on the same level as their contribution.
I don’t mind the change of art style but I hope the gameplay will be fun and the story to be excellent. I have faith in the studio and obviously Matt Stone and Trey Parker role in the development will be a significant factor to when the game finally releases.
I don't know how I fully feel about this. I think there's potential to be found here and I want it to be good but I can't help but feel a little mixed about this game.
I actually like the fact that it’s a 3D game since we are not used to that from the good South Park games so I love to see Matt and Treys take on 3D SP
One thing I really love is the use of the Phone Destroyer looks! I haven't seen enough people talking about how a lot of the established characters are wearing their Phone Destroyer outfits. With that game being pretty much abandoned, I'm glad they're still doing something with the designs (cuz theyre awesome)
Great analysis of the trailer! You definitely nailed the locations from episodes and whatnot being referenced. I do wonder if this the theme of this game is going to be strictly fantasy ala SOT. I honestly like the super hero genre more from FbW, but really don't see anything like that in this trailer. It'd be cool if the classes had themed skins, like the duel wielding class you could dress up in leather armor with daggers, or wear a costume with claws.
Definitely can't wait to see more and really curious to see what kind of game this turns out to be. I honestly thought it was another tower defense game lol.
I do hope there will be a story mode with the co-op multiplayer. I would like too have some sort of storyline with the new kid.
this will be a game i will keep my eye on although i do hope it's not entirely multiplayer because there are still some of us like me who still prefer single player experiences. it looks quite cool and ambitious but i do hope there are single player elements to it as well
I'm pumped for it. I keep thinking of the N64 one where you throw snowballs at the Evil Turkeys
It was great that first 3 south park games had the same 2d animation that the actual show had, but I'm not sure about the 3d animation in the snow day one. But the south park snow day looks very epic and action packed and I'm going to give it a chance unlike some other people.
I'm scared this won't be as good because of the 3d look, but I'll trust them for now. They delivered 2 amazing rpgs so far, chances are they can make a 3d beat-em-up work.
is the kid on the left with the spin attack supposed to be Nichole or just someone edited to look similar to her? if it is Nichole I'm very curious to see what role she's gonna be playing in this game :) since in Stick Of Truth it sounds like content with her was cut & in Fractured But Whole the new kid gets her dad arrested & eventually freed but she doesn't really get involved. this 3rd game could finally be her time to shine :)
you said gaunlet legends and it rang so many bells in my brain bc i couldn’t remember what that game was called for so long
idk if im just wishfully thinking, but maybe there's possibililty for a single player mode too? a way for there to also be a story/rpg-esque aspect alongside co-op multiplayer. like i said, probably wishful thinking/a far-fetched idea, but i think that may be cool! and i agree, the 3-d style surprised me a little, but it's sort of like returning to the roots in terms of the video-game side of south park. idrm it, and i'm sure matt and trey have some amazing ideas for the game!
I think the new style makes them look like vinyl figures, which I think is a natural upgrade if they ever were to change the style in any way. The stiff movement even adds to that vinyl figure style.
I think its fair for them to want to experiment like this. While I dont think it looks like how I wanted it to be, I think its reasonable and fits a kinda old school style in way
The 3D style is weird but I expect that it’ll be polished before release. I love the idea of setting a game during a snow day. I’ll warm up to the 3D style for sure before release.
This has a lot of potential. Can't wait to see more!!
I'm pretty sad that it's 3d, I've played Stick of Truth, and it's one of my favorite games as of right now. The way you explained it, though, made me think of it differently. I'm excited we get to see more of the town and building since South Park has grown a ton since 2014. I'm super excited to play with friends and explore new places.
You'll be full on elated when you give it a try, keep in mind, this could be a side game, since this isn't an rpg.
@marshallw1902 Yes, I bet! I was doubtful for the first time playing the stick of truth, but now I'm hooked. We have to trust Matt and Trey they always give us amazing games.
@@marshallw1902 why would it be a SIDE GAME?
In my opinion it looks like an ARPG, similar to diablo. The isometric 3d style, the circles around your coop party members, the different attacks and even the way that catapult looked and acted reminded me of diablo.
If that is the case and we get an ARPG, I think a snow day is an amazing setting and I could see you and your party slowly making it through different areas and hunting for rare drops.
Yeah, it's giving me minecraft dungeons vibes
Gauntlet Legends was what I thought of as well when I saw the trailer. I would be down for something in that style. I’m looking forward to seeing more about the game.
I wonder how exploration and missions /quests will be tied together. Will it be full open world or a menu with missions with each mission having a designated portion of south park
I share the same sentiments as other sp fans-- I believe it was a missed opportunity to have the game emulate the paper/ handcrafted artstyle it emulates in the show. The models look very smooth and chunky, like their kidrobo or youtooz figurines, very doll-like, which still makes the artstyle look cute, so I don't mind as much lol.
what eases my fears though, is that the game is being developed by Question. They're comprised of former AAA creatives who worked on both Stick of Truth and Fractured But Whole. I really like their mission statement on their website haha. So, this team knows what they're doing!
I can't wait to explore new areas of south park, like the tegridy/credigree farms. Who knows, maybe we can finally visit canada again?
I'm really excited about a story co-op game. There aren't many of those styles of games.
I was waiting for your video since I saw the trailer on Twitter and saw it was a co-op multiplayer. I would be very disappointed already if I didn’t know that Matt and Trey are very protective of the brand, that’s what keeps me going. I trust them and hope the game works as well as the other two.
hahahh that outro was amazing -- subd 4 sure
I honestly dont care about how this game looks or might be different to previous ones it still looks fun and worth it. Also the new look to it looks entertaining as hell
I guess it’s not what we all would’ve expected but I have faith it will still be good! I don’t see Matt & Trey letting their last 2 big hit games be tarnished by this 3rd game so hopefully they know exactly what they’re doing which I believe they do
I’m extremely excited, reminds me of the old south park games, so it may be a dip in the nostalgia for both of them, I really hope it goes well though
i honestly think this looks like a neat lil departure from the usual RPGs! for everyone who's been ranting and raving for a new RPG since Bring the Crunch, we'll probably get another one soon. this seems like a little test run for other genres now that matt and trey are behind the wheel in terms of writing.
also, a little idea for this game: what if you could buy different types of weed from tegridy farms and use them to gain buffs in combat?
I personally have a feeling that 1. stick of truth + fractured but whole new kid and phone destroyer new kid are two different kids, and 2. phone destroyer new kid will be the protagonist. I could see the opening where a kid from school (cartman) invites you to play outside and your parents ground you and force you to go outside and play because of your phone addiction, and by leaving your phone you awaken powers you never knew you had (which would tie into any rpg magic factors)
im hoping they add the customisable kyle hat, stan hat and kennys famous parka, i really loved those items in the fractured but whole and made me actually feel like i was in south park, especially with the kenny parka.
it would be cool to see videos of johnny 2 cellos, blooms and other southpark content creators play snow day together
I have so many fond memories of playing on N64, and this brought me back! I shared with my OG dudes and they are all pumped and on board!
I'm looking forward to it. Seems like, judging by the way a campaign could be proposed... It might just be something akin to the story mode of Madness Combat: Project Nexus. And then of course, a 4v4 PvP mode would be welcome as well.
what i hope is we go around town recruiting people to join your faction and to prep for war by crafting weapons and doing side quests. And then we have these big battels on the map like whats shown.
I hope it's like fallout where you have 1 bug 3d map you can explore with your only restriction being enemies or a small amount of areas having a quest
Hoping terrify farms is an arena area where you can buy different types of weed for buffs
I think it just shows Matt and Trey really wanted to make a game and it worked better in 3D. I really think this’ll be fun
Your video summed up a lot of my own thoughts & opinions on the trailer, I ultimately feel underwhelmed with it since it’s not clear on what kind of game it actually is. When I thought it was a PvP game I was extremely disappointed, but now I assume it’s a Castle Crashers style game? Which would be cool if I could play as Stan, Kyle, Cartman, or Kenny.
I disagree with you that New Kid should be a mainstay for every game, I would personally prefer a game with a story that actually focuses on the four main boys for the first time, and I expected we’d get something like that when there were rumors the game was a four player co-op, but I’m disappointed that they went the route of making four new kids. I can’t envision a good story where the main protagonists are four blank slates.
We really missed out with the 3d art style not mimicking the show's opening. I think that's what a lot of people were expecting. This art style gives off mobile.. vibes
Ok, now that I think of it, (assuming) we ARE returning to the fantasy aesthetic, it makes sense. Why NOT play as fantasy characters on such a MAGICAL type of day. (Yes, that pun was intentional. I regret nothing)
I would absolutely lose my mind for the PC Frat House as an explorable area. Also I'm weirded out by the style, but I think that's just cuz I'm an artist and I've been so obsessed w/ the style for the first two for so long that it's hard to let go of. But w/ the amount of work and care they put into the previous two I have faith in it
Honestly when I saw the trailer for Snow day, It reminded me of Happy wars and basically I find that it's gonna just be a Happy wars meet south park hybrid and honestly it's a bit of nostalgia but personally I'm a little torn but I'm still pretty hyped for this!
I'm thinking they're Terrence and Phillip-ing us...at least I hope.
If i had to asssume it will be similar to madness project nexus and how that game is a hack n slash story based game which really makes me happy to hear even if hack n slashes aren't my favorite, but if it has a good story i think a good story can make a good game into a great game
Like other fans I’m kinda bummed. I exclusively play single player games so I mightn’t even play this at all even though a part of me would feel like I’m missing out. If they offered a single player mode I’d be down. I also see it’s coming to the switch from the official social media posts which is the only semi current system I have so at least I can play it. I think it’s slightly early yet and will wait for more info. Good video.
I seems like a cool castle crashers type of game so still a rpg esq game but with more of a focus on combat and mulitplayer I'm excited but I agree with the 3d Style wanting it to be more like the intro scene awesome video as usual Mr. Cellos No.2
7:18 i think it does one kid has a staff , one has an axe like veapon (the spinning one) , one has a bow and the last one has dual blade
This looks like a battle arena, sorta Magika meets team death match. I'd love to see it Gauntlet legends style though, as that is a genre I haven't touched in a while.
The artstyle will definitely take time to get used to but I'm waiting more info on the gameplay since 3D co-op multiplayer to me doesn't sound too appealing but I guess it's just waiting.
This game reminds me of alien swarm and Left 4 Dead from Valve and those games are fire, when It comes to story, maybe It Will be like L4D where There is a story but the levels are all already unlocked and you can play them in any order.
I hope the game plays like the left4dead series where you play co-op with 4 players and you have to get from point A to B while fighting your way through hordes of enemies... It would also open the possibility for a versus mode later down the line
Well im excited, cause the trailer was just made, there isnt even a full map yet, so i think this will be so fun, maybe it will have different modes
Art style of the game is interesting, it reminds me of castle crashers gameplay wise from what we can see. Hopefully it’s even more fun then castle crashers
It will take some getting used to, seeing the characters looking like vinyl figures. I will miss the style of the previous games, but I do trust that the creators care enough about it that it will be good. I'm a tiny bit apprehensive, but still overall very excited for it.
Lets hope if they do something like a Versus Mode, i hope it would be like a group against another group like a last team standing type mode
I knew it wasn’t going to be an RPG and that it was going to be 3d but I hope that they just keep making games there bound to be good. Hopefully
The gameplay really reminds me of that old free to play Xbox one game Happy Wars but with a south park skin
Seeing the circle dots all I can assume is that if you're doing something like that it screams out top down. I'm expecting we're getting a Diablo styled ARPG.
I first thoughts about this game is that it might be a MOAB. like 4vs4 or 5vs5 that or something like Division where you just go around town fighting.
Idk if anyone’s ever played happy wars but I used to have so much fun on that game, im really excited for this
I'm pretty sure they will make more RPG games that their core fans lovded, and that this project is more of an off-branch effort to try something else and maybe appeal to others as well. We know if there is one thing SP has been good at (for like two decades!) is that they overall consistently satisfy their core fans.
It gives me "Happy wars" vibes
which if it is i would be happy
Hope there is a single mode and a story line. IDK how to feel about the 3D effect hope it's just as good as the last two. Willing to give it a spin.
it's good to hear it's story focused but I personally think there will be a competitive multiplayer mode too due to how the combat is structured
