It is so very comforting to my heart to see folks like Wayne who take the commitment of "through sickness and health" seriously ❤!!! So much of this world today teaches a focus on looking out for #1 but at a cost to anyone that gets in the way of that. God wants us to look out for ourselves as well but He knows how important to our heart it is to do for others. If you want to live a fulfilled life, follow His commands.

Great place always and when I have family and family come to Louisville I always bring them to experience this Louisville iconic place. Loved the historical significance and the tour and appreciation for the family to involve themselves in the video to make it authentic. You're the best at getting the best of places and the history of its Genesis (beginnings) of the establishment.

Man Barry what a fantastic production! We were there 3 years ago after one of my grandsons basketball tournaments in Louisville. It took us just a bit to get out there but well worth the drive. My grandson killed me on crab legs but what a great establishment and everything we had was amazing. Thanks buddy!

I took my husband to Mike Linnig’s Thursday for lunch- it was his first experience. I had been going all through my childhood and on. After marrying my husband and moving to Glasgow I hadn’t been in over 20 years and my experience was just as delicious as the first time. Hate that we missed you but glad you guys had a great time.

I grew up in the Sun Valley subdivision not far from there and spent my first six school years right around the corner at Johnsontown Road Elementary school. Unfortunately my mom never liked fish so I never even heard of the place until after we moved away. I wish I knew of it then because I could have biked up there it was so close. Anyway, I'm glad to know of it now and thank you for the tour and interviews to get even more information.

I loved that you had Wayne from Michigan with you. Loved the tour loved seeing some of the Linings family. All the beautiful carved wood. I knew you were going to Mike Linings, and I knew I could not get that yet, but I got some moby dick oysters and a whale of a sandwich and even though it wasn't rolled I ate hush puppies with it dipped in cocktail sauce. And onion rings. It was so delicious. I'm going to have to go to ML on my birthday next month. Thanks again for the good videos. Happy Father's day

I have gotten sick multiple times from eating there! I should never have gotten sick one time but the fact that I gave them several chances thinking the first time I got sick was a fluke but nope it happened on different occasions! You could not pay me to ever eat there again!!!!! The fish is t as good as everybody claims and a little over priced as well. If you like water flowing from your fish then that's the place to go

I have been going there since at least 1980 and believe their prices have gotten too high they raise it every year when they reopen for the season and the quality is not as good as it used to be. And they charge extra for additional sauces at least they stopped charging for drink refills

@@goodallscountrykitchen yes I did I saw your explanation about 1 meal can feed multiple people but to me the prices have gone too high and the food is not as good. My wife and her family lived very close and we ate there many times in the 80’s and 90’s and mostly everyone agrees
