Really great to see Chef Shaq is succeeding and he deserves it. The place is doing great and to hear he's planning on opening up a second location is fantastic.
Paul made a great guest host. This place looks like they've got some really good food.

My wife is vegetarian and loved the look of those zucchini fries….. and the sound of the crunch. She’s going to try and make them. The coating looks and sounds like a panko breadcrumb, or something similar. We’ll see how it pans out.

Key Lime pie originated in The Keys. Originally used pelican eggs for texture and color. Now pelican egg is banned, so eggs and food color. Spread due to tourists loving it. Pres. George Bush Sr. Loved it. Baker from Canton, OH living in Key West was personal pie maker for GHWB.
I needed a good laughing today brother. Sandwiches looked dad gone good and the zucchini fries looked amazing. But I could imagine the look on Marys Face if you woulda stuck your fingers in her key lime pie!!! That made my day buddy. Thanks and have a good weekend brother!

I’m forty seven, when I was in sixth grade we had a female teacher that was a farm girl and almost no one wanted to get paddled by her!! She could swing that thing harder than any male teacher at our school!! Needless to say I did my best to behave around her….. she did smack me on top of the head with a pencil once…… wow today that would not fly lol!

Goodall, do you have to buy drinks individually? Also I like water with my meals, and there are so many places that serve great food but totally ignore something as fundamental and important as water. It's sad how many good (mainly small) restaurants I won't visit because they sell drinks individually.
I don’t worry about the drinks too much. I concentrate on good food and trying to support these families.

Both are equally bad actually. The aritifial sweetner in Diet ones cancel whatever advantage they have over regular. The diet ones use Apsartame and that chemical is possibly a carcinogen, but couldn't find any absolute answer.@@goodallscountrykitchen

In this part of the video one thing I did notice was there are no tables and seats it's like it's a ghost town no people but even now in January it's cold and people do what they have to do and go home or wherever they have to go but not outside but it is surprising and no one in the restaurant
I purposely went there in the middle of the afternoon so I wouldn’t disturb anybody. He does good business.

Yes. That was my parents restaurant from 1979-1996. It was between Middletown and Eastwood. It’s now a Thornton’s gas station. Corner of Shelbyville road and Beckley station road.
