One to keep in the car for some impromptu fun for sure.
Hi Dave!
Yes, I always like to have one with me that I know is going to perform well every time I take it out.
Awesome plane ;-)
Unreal Stuff!
My awesome collection of Micros are the only things I can't Kill. Ahahhaha!!
Beauty GCRC, great show thanks.
Thanks Jono!
What a fun little plane.
Yes, lucky for me my micros bounce instead of crumple ;-)
See you in the Air!
This and the "fish" are both recent winners. We went through an era of bad flying aircraft there for awhile starting with the Xk A160 J3 Cub.
Happy flying!.
Yes, it's nice to get some great flying ones.
My list of Lemons was starting to get quite extensive ;-)
At last flown mine and the flying fish both flew beautifully and the bymeA stabiliser is a doddle. The Pioneer I think needs very light winds but the fish can cope with a bit more presumably the extra weight and power allows this. cheers Michael
Hi Michael!
Those are a couple of fantastic planes.
Yes, the Pioneer is one of the lightest I've seen for it's size.
Mine has an AUW of only 113g!
I do love the power of that Flying Fish as you can really push into the wind with that one ;-)
Nice little plane. 😁👍
Thanks Doc!
It's definitely a keeper ;-)
See you in the Air!
Nice plane and flight👍👍👍👍
Thanks Martin!
One of my favorite Micro Planes ;-)
See you in the Air!
I like those proximity flying passby. The number of times I had to dodge my micro planes... This bird is very pleasant slow flyer and it is very tempting to do millions of "touch&go". The only drawback for me with this plane is that it does not have a detachable wing, I guess, because I mostly go on the field by bike and with birds in my big backpack
Ive a Bike trailor designed to put Kids in.
Perfect for 800mm or less Planes.
I always use the Pushbike and Trailer after a few to many Sherbs.
Scored it off Ebay Years ago, works a treat.
Beauty G F.
PS: The Surfboard rack on My Bike holds My ASW 28s wings and Fuse Perfect Too!
@@jonoedwards4195 thanks for the reply and cool for you, but I have a rather small apartment in the city and a cave for my bike but could never have what you got. I'm very happy to have found a cheap epp 1,40m (230 gr) glider that can fit in my backpack for instance (assembly 5 min on the field). I'm looking for those kind of stuff.
Hehehe...I do like those very close passes!
I've only run into myself 3-4 times with my converted glider ;-)
Since I'm going to be replacing the stock single aileron servo with (2) servos I'm also going to make the wing detachable.
I can see the glue seam all the way around the main wing so hopefully it won't be too much trouble to remove it.
I don't like not being able to get to the electronics but it seems most of these micro planes are that way.
See you in the Air!
@@marielizysurourcq Unreal Mate!
What it is, Gliders off a cliff, Gliders finding lift in a Field, it's All good G F.
Hope Your Ruling Your Realm Mate.
@@GroundControlRC Phoenix S Mate.
Modded to 3s, Your gonna Rule Dat Sheeeeee already.
Have you flown the umx timber x or the timber ?
I’m debating between one of those and this one for a mini. Iv got the 1.5 timber and love it just looking for my next one lol
I haven't flown either of those.
I know they are great flying planes and I looked at those before pulling the trigger on this one.
The reason I chose this one was I was also looking for something very durable, especially the way I fly my planes ;-)
I believe the UMX Timer / X are made from EPS Foam and the Pioneer is made from EPP Foam.
EPS is the least durable foam I had so far and EPP Foam is the most durable so I pulled the trigger on the Pioneer.
The one complaint I had regarding the Pioneer was the very slow roll authority.
I performed a couple of MODs that made it perfect for me with a great roll rate but it did take a bit of work to get it there.
The last couple of videos I published on the Pioneer show how it rolls after the MODs and the difference is like Night and Day.
I hope that helps and I'll see you in the Air.
@@GroundControlRC right on thanks for the input it’s a great looking plane. And yea we have to tweek and mod most all kits to get them to fly like we like em.
