So you've made a slow car look, and sound like it's fast, but didn't make it fast...
Obviously you don't know much about cars, or what upgrades have been done to this car. A custom air intake is designed to improve airflow to the engine therefore creating a power increase and an exhaust system can free some of the power in your engine. These systems allow for a quicker, more efficient path for exhaust gases to escape. This means your engine "breathes" better, so spent fuel and air exit the combustion chambers faster.
I've actually seen & heard a decent bit of controversy about cold air intakes, and weather or not they work. But let's assume it works, you're only getting approx an extra 5 hp. I guarantee the mod was done to this car mostly because the owner likes the way it sounds.

Well not everyones mom and dad pays for there car and upgrades. Some people have to actually work hard for the money to mod there car. I know that's hard for you to believe but its true. Awesome car man!
