Yes, Absolutely! Combine those bolt ons and tune with Royal Purple full synthetic oils and NGK iridium spark plugs. 200hp even in hot weather!

Tuning the engine may yield more horse powers. However, it will shorten the engine lifespan for several years. This is not a big issue if you plan to sell your car within 5 years or less.

man, install the Rocksford nav system like in my gts and definitely pressure wash and clean that engine bay.. that thing will be Awesome!!
You know you can damage the engine and more of the electrical stuff in there if you pressure wash the engine bay. I did it with a spray bottle and towels. After that I used some plastic detailer on the plastic pieces. Taking from your comment, I'm soon gonna put a nav system.
Hey man I don't know if you know anything serious about cars, but from all my years of building engines and fixing cars, oils no matter what kind and plugs cant increase your horsepower that much, AlexStenka is the only person who seems to do any research.
do a dyno run and show the results.
The only time Spark Plugs increase horsepower is when your engine has lost some due to the old plugs getting worn out. You just end up restoring the power the engine originally had.
I have a 2009 GTS 2.4, i keep debating on if the Works 93 octane tune is worth it and what the diff feels like

Do the manual transmission Lancer GTS models come with CVT because I have a 2010 Nissan Sentra SR and I'm trying to move away from that? My Sentra is so boring to drive. I'm considering a Lancer GTS or Civic Si. I could get a GTS and have alot of leftover money for upgrades or I can get a Civic Si but won't have extra money for anything in upgrades. I'm looking for fun, reliable and somewhat peppy in speed. I know both these cars are kinda slow anyway but I'm not trying to race everyone who pulls up to me. I'm too old for that stuff nowadays and want a car that will be a fun daily driver. Thoughts???
Thanks for watching my video! I would stay away from anything cvt personally. A manual transmission would be the most fun in any of those 3 cars compared with the automatic models. From those 3 cars, I would choose Civic Si. Great aftermarket support for maintenance and modifications. My biggest suggestion is to go test drive a bunch of cars that spark your interest. My daily d is an Audi s4 and I have zero regrets. Good luck on your car hunt!

Paddle shifters
GTS headers
Was told that exhausts won't really add anything performance wise, so i'm debating whether to keep it stock or just get a muffler. Is it possible to get more than 170hp?
May i ask how could you tune your lancer Gts? Because I’m planning to buy a 2011 lancer gts and an aftermarket exhaust and an air intake and maybe a fuel pump booster.
SkyMine just take it to a tuner, they can open up the computer and squeeze out all the horsepower they can out of the car

Sounds like a factory rev limiter. Just get a tuner to flash your cars ecu. Eliminate those factory restrictions, get a couple more hp's, and torque. That's what my buddy did with his in this video

AceTuningOutdoors its a stocked Altima with 2.5se engine orriginally came with 3.5 gave it 270hp but it got removed

Yes, as long as you install all custom supporting mods as well. 8 psi and higher boost levels, compression must be dropped using different pistons or thicker head gasket. Maybe even a standalone ecu

2008 Lancer GTS 2.0-liter 152-horse engine. For 2009, the Lancer adds the 172-hp 2.4-liter engine.

My 2012 M Galant has a 2.4 L 4 cyl w/ 165hp
There is no 'sports package'. I work for Mitsubishi. The GTS is 2.4L 4cyl MIVEC with 168hp factory FWD. All other trim levels exept for ES with AWC has 2.0L 4cyl MIVEC with 148hp.
The Lancer GT for later years is 2.4L 4cyl MIVEC FWD only.

I would suggest the same mods that this Lancer has. Also depends on your budget. This Lancer has close to $1800 CAD into it.
Coilovers. Bigger brakes. Anything this car has. Possibilities are endless. Just depends on what you’re looking to spend
I added slotted brakes on mine, next is going to be coilovers. Maybe some tein adjustable coilovers but I'm not sure yet on that. After that I'm changing the air intake and also buying headers and a exhaust system. I don't plan on going all out on it since I'm planning on selling it on the future but if I keep I'll buy a turbo kit for my gts and change the seats and also the steering wheel. If I do get the turbo kit I'm going to rebuilt the engine and go with bigger injectors, another fuel pump sounds good too but like I said I'm not sure if I'll keep it.

2008 GTS is basically a cosmetically changed DE...2009 and on GTS have 2.4l engine @168hp, upgraded suspension...
How does it makes a 2.0 a gts 2.4 its the gts and 170 hp hard to believe since its the 2.0 that has 148 stock an intake and exhaust wont make that much hp you have to change alot of thing for it to have 170 hp and how it sounds i can tell it doesnt have a ecu reflash and btw does rims are to heavy for that car so a lost of power there

The 2008 model aka this one has a 2.0 for the gts. The 2.4 didn't come out till 2009 for the gts. So yes. Dyno papers or he's throwing numbers out of his ass

Nathan Lester that would be a lot of money to convert, the lancer doesn't have the same engine mounts or transmission like the evo so it would be expensive to make it all wheel drive.
My 2.0 makes more than 170 hp and i had to put an intake with no filter in the front not back there evo x camshaft evo x ecu a manifold something i cant remember the name is the black piece thats like a plastic header in the front of the engine cat delete vibrant exhaust reflash and tune and with does heavy 18 rims u have ur making less power

@@bennygonzalez6015 no i just got the semi header from the 2.4 engines they have a different exhaust manifold than the 2.0 engines and yeah, it was the intake manifold back then i was still learning the parts even my writing was horrible 😂😂😂

u have around 150hp stock with catback, intake and tune u got 175 25hp gain. i have lancer gt with about 170hp so its possible for me to reach the 200+hp with just bolt on and tune?
if it's GT it depends here in middle east it comes with 2.0L making 158 hp stock so if u have 2.4L engine there it's very easy to make 200hp after full bolts on

I own a 1.4 TDI 80HP Ibiza. A very weak car but it get's me around, it's fun and it doesn't consume that much gas. However I am looking to buy a new car. But since you can't have an economical car and a fast car, I am looking for something that would satisfy my driving desires.
I used to drive my fathers 1.9 Leon 200cv, now that was a fun.
I would like to have a car the could give me a bit of a thrill, that has power to take off.
I always lovec the lancer and I am thinking about the 2.0es 148cv.
Is it a nice a car? Or would it still be a "slow" car.
Would like to hear your opinion.

I would say the lancer is the best option for you. I'm a student myself, and i wanted to buy a car thats fun to drive and that wouldn't consume much gas, and I ended up with my 2017 lancer gt. Wouldnt say that its a fast car or anything but its has this balance between fun and economic. Other options u can consider are the toyota 86 (a bit more expensive) or a used miata or something similar if u wouldnt mind buying a used car
If you do get a cvt lancer, make sure to buy a pedal commander, sprint booster, or tune the engine becuase the base drive by wire response is awful :/
CVT is like eco mode, revs are kept so low. Can get better power if the car comes with semi auto manual mode or paddle shifters though.
