I made this video to explain NOS a little bit better, how to install it, how much it costs, problems you WILL encounter, performance differences etc. I Installed NOS on my Lancer GTS which now makes about 210-215 HP from the previous 180 HP with the 35 wet shot of NOS

Dude thats super cool! I live in Jacksonville Florida and everybody here is all about superchargers and turbos and you don't really see a lot of NOS kits here

Certainly, although I should say, it may not show incredibly in the numbers. This is to say that it may only be 1 second or so faster, but 1 second faster feels significantly faster in person. Try to listen for the change in pitch, I will try to annotate it in the video. Which kind of lancer do you have?

I installed the kit myself but I don’t see why your local performance shops wouldn’t help you
Turn the bottle so the hose is facing down and your siphon tube will be in the proper position to use all of the nitrous. Also you will get better and more extreme performance with a bottle heater. If you don’t have 900-1000 psi bottle pressure you will not get the advertised 35hp
Mike Richmond I don’t have the setup anymore due to switching cars but if you look at more recent videos, you can see that I did install a bottle heater, and increased the jetting to 50 hp

Thats nothing i got a 2014 lancer DE swapped to a 2.4l n/a making 205hp on stock evo x cams and a 100hp shot of nitrous from PR.
First, theres no need to BM my video.. Second, youre running a 100 shot of nos on the stock 4B12 block?
@@Huntsteven6 not talking bad about it but from personal experience here in PR we have used always. 75 shot to a max of 125 on a tuned ecu of course retarding just a few degrees of the timing and yes i do a 100 shot normally on 93oct and its been like 4 years and engine still dynoes same hp everytime 205hp and minimun of about 203hp N/A on nos 294hp i can send you vids of some of my street races on nos or all motor my number is 787-461-0647 from PR i can even try to get you in contact with my tuner if youd like
@@giovannirivera9812 Im pretty new to the nos game with the 50 shot, ive only had it for about 6 months. I use 94 octane with it all the time but i have not retarded timing at all. That being said, I can't say Ive experienced any detonation. My only limitation at this point from doing a 75 shot is the fact that I don't want to push my engine too hard, and that my clutch already slips in fourth gear when I use nos.
@@Huntsteven6 you can mount act clutch disc and pressure plate from 05 06 ralliarts its basically a drop in and stock timing i think it was 22 degrees im running 20 degrees max i wpuld say you could do a 75 on a new clutch setup a 4 puck clutch transforms these cars hahaha i uploaded a few vids on my page you can watch them later and if you got any questions you can fell free to ask me if you need help anytime
@@Huntsteven6 ive done a 125 shot like twice and thats a real crazy feeling i go straight to the 125 non Progressive or anything just direct 100 or 125 basically 1st and 2nd gear its neutral hiting the limiter with normal tires

Someone please help me I have the same car but 2012 and it’s a se same engine also I just want more hp and tq I can get to 60 in like 7.8 seconds but I would like to have it down to 6.5-7.0 seconds can someone help me on what I should do
Realest Nigga to do that you’ll need either a mad tune, a turbo, or nitrous (like I did) and some fat tires since it’s an open diff and you’ll wanna floor it in first gear

Adding NOS to an evo? I may consider that or even getting a tune for a few extra horses, but thats in the future haha
you can make 230whp all motor with evo x cams and tuned and ported intake manifold and header
I am now running a 50 shot making over 230 hp, the thing is, any more and I would have to change the oem clutch. Even with my current setup, 4th gear NOS'ing at around 3500 slips by about 300 rpm, so, I don't know, i'm pretty happy with what i've got. Secondly, I think that evo x cams along with a dyno day, tune, P&P intake manifold, AND Header costs a lot more than NOS. But I do see your point and thank you!
Huntsteven6 my car has act clutch and act plate but the lancer transmission has a piece i dont know the name that it breaks before the clutch has to be change thats the only problem that i really hate about the transmission and when its stars to brake its makes the most annoying sound ever
