Good callout. I played with the CrewLink mod to add prox chat, but considering how long it's been since I played I could have sworn it had been added in an update. A lot of streamers used it as well, so I have a lot of memories of prox chat being a normal thing.

This series is literally the best. It almost feels like a tv show with their individual personalities and with them playing it “realistically” as in the editing being low key with full gameplay while also being very tense with scary moments. It’s the best!!

I remember when I used to cheat that way. When I played the original Pokémon Blue on the Gameboy, I would turn my brightness up to the point where I didn't need the HM move Flash to see in the dark. It was difficult to do, but I could make out the outlines of the walls, trainers and the ladders/exits with this method.

In all fairness, I’m pretty sure the gap room is the same every single time, so I think the beam is in the same spot relative to the break in the hand rails every time. If the gap in the hand rails is smaller, than the beam is attached to your side and is slightly to the left of the break in the handrails. If the gap in the rails is larger than it’s on the opposite end
