It is worth noting that the nemesis has an overheat mechanic where if it gets ignited it basically dies instantly. So although driller can have some issues with the nemesis, if he can keep the flamethrower on it he can kill it quicker than other classes can.
Rather than just keeping the flamethrower on it, considering most of its builds may not actually outrange the Nemesis' grab, it may be worthwhile to lure it into your sticky flames. Or otherwise, might be a good idea to invest in that range so you can actually burn it while staying out of its grab rangr.

This game sucked me in from its charm alone, it has a solid identity that's fun and silly but somewhat serious too. It's full of the personality and charm that alot of games lack these days.

about the coilgun: you can take an upgrade allowing you to fire shots that arent fully charged, with the damage of the shot, its penetration and ammo usage scaling depending on how charged it was. This allows you to mitigate overkill, shoot mroe reactively, and to ABUSE trails since all the properties of the trail are the same regardless of the charge level. If you only charge at inimum, you get 68 shots total without taking the upgrade for extra ammo. Triple Tech ammo usage also scaled down with charge level,meaning at min charge a triple tech shot where you use both extra shotw will use only 20 ammo.

i'm 2 months late, but great video. small note i felt i should include for the boltshark- you noted that it lacks direct damage compared to the scout's other secondary weapons, and you're absolutely correct. because you stopped there, i assume you didn't get a chance to try out either of the two best overclocks for the weapon, fire bolts and ice bolts. these overclocks make your *regular* bolts irretrievable and deal even less direct damage, but they radiate their respective types of temperatures. these overclocks allow the weapon to fully embrace its role as a support tool, instead trying to be a worse, albeit very cool, version of the m1000. a DRG youtuber called Milligin recently released a guide to these specific crossbow builds, where he details how you can arrange for setting massive swarms on fire when used in conjunction with pheromone bolts, and i can't quite remember the details on the ice bolts build. point is, i wanted to leave an informative comment in case you're interested in giving the weapon another shot, since these overclocks open up a whole new playstyle. loved your video, r&s.
that's fair, covering overclocks is difficult because of them being time-gated. I could have read them off the wiki but this would have felt inauthentic in my eyes so I opted to skip instead. since making the video I have gotten the fire bolts and they're amazing, definitely a staple of my crossbow build now and thanks 👍
I understand the list pf things that can go wrong in the new season 3 I was okay a frilldozer mission and then a meteor landed and we get overwhelmed and absolutely annihilated
On top of the utility bonus, the boltshark and it’s special bolts give scout wave clear, which is something no other weapons besides the boomstick (kinda) have on scout and is a glaring weak point in scouts weapons in general. Boltshark is great for a well rounded scout or solo running scout, as another dwarf can’t pick up your aoe slack but takes a little bit of damage away from scout’s team identity as a high priority target killer
The Boltshark honestly feels a bit too unreliable for wave clear on the scout, though Bodkin Points does help with that. Personally, Cryo Minelets Subata and Blowthrough (Hipster) M1000 are still my go-to's for wave clear on scout.
@@TheSpeep try out fire bolts with pheromones/taser bolts, I think it’s scouts single strongest wave clear tool. Hipster is a great choice but it’s value isn’t really as a waveclear tool as much as it is an everything tool and is a smidge overtuned. cryo minelets aren’t really for me but they promote a unique play style and it’s nice you can make em work

8 mission types, modifiers, random events, biomes and cave generation make the missions not repetitive for quite some time and how are there only 7 enemy types?
each to their own, eventually you will run out of things to do but doing things like not restricting your class choice and weapon/mod/oc loadout definitely helps keep things fresh - there's a lot of fun to be had with experimenting

I think the sabta +electro nades has a pretty nice wave cleaning..but the bolt also have a good one

Mining Expeditions, Extraction and Refinery missions have a chance to spawn Dreadnought instead of a normal wave. It's quite rare, but it happens.

Ngl don’t think this is the best coop shooter at all, for me currently I think it’s vermintide 2. DRG’s art style just doesn’t do it for me.
