Ah, the PTSD song. I love this song, but it brings me back into a specific mindset of doing Calamity as a summoner.
I feel ya. played summoner while a buddy insisted on doing true melee. was a lot of running away to survive his respawn period while my drones did their job

@@coreflakes was doing a master death mode on For the worthy seed melee and it was pure hell, not only does he kill in a few hits, the arena is also extremely small. Since I was busy with irl stuff I didn't grind him out sadly, wanted to finish the playthrough. Now I don't feel like coming back, lost that spark.

@@krasistefanovlol summoner is really powerful and kills bosses way too fast but any difficulty beyond revengeance is torment
As far as songs with lyrics go, this is probably my favorite one, ever. I couldn't tell you why, it just makes me feel things that few other songs manage to lol. That whole slower, second part of the song is just mmhf, perfect.
I think the big part is that you get Infernal Catharsis first. And then during the climax of the battle, it comes in during the second phase to just push the tension higher
You might enjoy power metal. I also love this song and got pretty into power metal and symphonic metal (it’s almost more like rock than metal, as it tends to keep the melody in the vocals, which I much prefer over heavy metal). It does sweeping cinematic music like this really well, though some bands are definitely better than others. I’d recommend the song Anima Mundi and anything by Powerwolf, if you ever feel like checking them out.
I think another part of it is because it's like one of the only two songs with lyrics for the mod
its the common feeling of hopelessness in a bossfight song, but for the boss

What's mindblowing to me is this isn't just a video game track, its a track from a MOD, a god damn fan-created modification to a game just casually has this in it.
Which is probably the biggest mod in all of terraria but a mod none the less

Honestly despite Calamity being a mod I’ve always thought of it more as DLC
How this absolute GOAT somehow plays perfectly to and enhances a song completely blind is a fact that eludes me. This guy knows exactly what he's doing, and he's having oodles of fun doing it.
So, I learned something. at 1:18, I thought Yharon was saying "This is a message from my master - This is a fight you cannot win"
In reality he's saying: "This is a message *TO* my master - *This is a fight you cannot win"*
Yharon is literally telling Yharim that he cannot defeat the player...
Yeah its sad because Yharon knows he is going to have to sacrifice himself in order to get his point across to Yharim😢
yeah, he is basically saying that if HE can't kill the player, no one can, not even yharim

Like.. imagine an enemy that at first, died near instantly against you.. you're sure that you've ended their life, turned them into ashes with your flames.. only for the next day, the same guy fights you again, with a different weapon this time, you try attacking him again, but this time he manages to dodge your attacks, until you kill him again.. sure that this time.. he's surely dead, that you've won..
..Only for you to be proven wrong the next day after again.. with him having changed the armor he's wearing, the accessories he's using against you now more optimized than before.. he starts dodging all your attacks more readily, his weapons now more powerful than the previous ones he's used, the tactics they use for the fight now more efficient with dealing with you.. it is then you realize.. that this enemy is never going to stop.. one step at a time, he will overtake you.. that even if you win now by using some sort of new attack, he will still rise up later and learn from it.. until he kills you in the end.. and he will do the same against your master.
@@cirnotheicefairy3609reminds me of undertale, you get "stronger" everytime you respawn by learning the patterns, however the boss doesnt. It's always an unfair battle

The saddest, and yet best, song in Calamity. The penultimate boss in the game, singing to warn his Master (the big bad who isn't even in the game yet) about the player. Chilling and depressing and oh so very epic. SO glad to hear you play this! Can't wait for more Calamity!

It was as glorious as I anticipated it would be, superb performance on this! Now that you’ve tasted one song from this album, I would recommend that you listen and cover a few of the other songs, namely:
Universal Collapse,
Interstellar Stomper,
Infestation, and
Flight of Beezlebub.

He did a lot of DM Dokuro's songs years ago, with even DM Dokuro making challenges for the8bitdrummer
Ye but those were his undertale remixes which aren’t as good as his other stuff like calamity or what would be cooler was his own original albums and songs like they know who they are

I was playing calamity infernum earlier today and this was a treat to come across, BEST SONG IN THE MOD!
Maaaaaan Terraria Calamity has to be one of the craziest mods ever, the entire thing is as heavy as the game itself or even heavier! It revitalizes Terraria for those that have finished it for the 20th time and has too much content for free, the effort behind all of it is amazing
Same! I'm more of a combat boss fighting person in a Terraria game so Calamity perfectly fit me. To be honest, I love Calamity more than Vanilla Terraria. Especially since Revengence and Deathmode are much better, unlike the lazy Mastermode -v-
