You guys did a great job! This theme in particular is actually my favorite out of the whole soundtrack, and for my favorite character AND battle too! I swear, hearing the Hopes and Dreams motif come in during the final phase is one of the most dopamine inducing things I've felt in a while.
For me it's the piano segment right after that

@@reddodeado301 Maybe that's the very point where Undertale and Deltarune got massively inspired by Mother 3. Music that is created to hit emotionally hard and evoke the memories of certain intense and emotional fight.

theres also the motif from the yellow soul portion of the original omega flowey fight shortly after that section which is so awesome
This fangame took years to develop and I'm glad it has a wonderful OST to go along with it!
Undertale has a godtier OST along with Deltarune so it's kind of of expected for some fangames to go hard with their fantracks ;D

Yeah, for the past few streams i've been submitting a nice mix of BFF, AFTERLIFE and all specimen themes. Hopefully he'll choose it as the first experience of flowey's themes from UTY.

Story wise, I think Pacifist is my favourite route, Ceroba is such an interesting character, I wish we could see what happened to Kanako, maybe she turned into an Amalgamate or something like that?

@@yaboipktendo oh yeah I've heard that theory before, and it makes sense!
I like it better this way, because we all know what happened to Kanako. She melted into an amalgamate. And the reason I like that we never find out which one she melted into exactly is because it gives Alphys' character extra depth, the mistakes she committed cannot be dismissed easily and yet in UT everyone instantly forgave her (from what we saw), which isn't really realistic. She kept close family members like Ceroba in the dark for no reason other than to save face. It just adds another layer of realism to the situation and it's poetic to know that Ceroba's suffering is far from over solely because of one person's decisions.

It gives as much room to theorize as Undertale did. They gave us 1 clear answer, but the other like 5 question stay to theorize
Pacifist is the most intresting route storywise, but some events don't really make sense.
Star is a kid. I thought he was a good character until he tried to kill me because he was an asshole to people, only to say "i'm sorry" and be friends like nothing happened 5 minutes later (like what?)
The most obvious one is Clover and Martlet going to Ceroba when it was exactly what she needed, only to say 30 seconds later: "we are going to Asgore and there's that". Then just go to Asgore? There's literally no reason to approach Ceroba there.
Then there's the 250IQ kid Kanako, that, let's face it. No kid is that determined and smart enough to do something like that at 5/6. Kids that age don't normally eavesdrop their parents, understand everything, go into the basement, get from a trashcan your mothers plans and willingly decide to possibly sacrifice herself for monsterkind.
There are also some minor inconsistencies but these are the ones that kinda ruined the route for me. Martlet is a saviour.

I love A Mothers Love so much. The composers did wonderfully at bringing out every emotion that intense, vengeful grief has. They did so well with this soundtrack. This track makes me want to scream at someone. It makes me grieve for something I have lost. It brings out that anger, but puts it in a more somber tone like It’s blind anger. In context, it makes sense.
Was waiting for you to get to this soundtrack eventually, simply because I knew your enjoyment of it would be wonderful. Can't wait for you to get to the rest of it, and I hope you'll play the game sometime too!

In general,i always find it nice when a fangame gets out there,and known to more than the few usual people and communities. But UT yellow truly deserves it all. 7. 7 years. That's the time people spent making it,and now we can all see it completed.

It is basically a straight rock tune, but also contains elements of flamenco and traditional Japanese music.

When i saw someone say "is this Toriels theme?" in chat i died on the inside
my ONE PROBLEM WITH THIS SONG is a common thing with video game OSTs.
in game, there are sound effects that heighten the impact of the song. this one? we don't have Ceroba's scream of anguish when the Once Upon A Time Leitmotif pops up, and really, this part of the song is akin to Hopes and Dreams, and where THAT song was really hopeful in tone, this song has a tone of desperation. and the scream REALLY helps amplify that.
