But also, we were used to having interesting music like Steely Dan on the radio back then but Silk Sonic has to meet the audience where they are and gradually bring them up from mumble rap and autotune to an appreciation of all the musicianship Silk Sonic could potentially unleash, so tunes are around 3 minutes with a creative music video (and humour!) to keep the attention of an audience that grew up on 6 second Vines and now has TikTok shorts. I’ve never been to a show where I cried the whole time, involuntarily. I’ve heard Bruno is the performer of our generation, but never til I saw him live - from the NOSEBLEEDS, even - did I realize we’re witnessing the Elvis and Beatles of our time. He is SOOO locked into his performance, SOO much presence, he just OOZES pure talent and appeal like no one I’ve seen. Mixed with Andy, who has a blast doing what he does, they epitomize what it means to love what you do. I can’t believe I got the gift of watching them live, I would’ve paid twice as much.

Your four are true professionals, and all your illustrations of Silk Sonic's music were so entertaining and created points and references of playing styles. I was not aware of, job well done. Thanks.

I'm loving these vids with Adam. He's so elegantly articulate about the theory and production. And Jack does a great job of managing the group with questions since they all have such high musical intelligence and each could go on indefinitely about any point in the song.

My favorite part of this collaboration is how it pulls you in. I love the diversity of each song on the album. So many artists have songs that are very similar to other songs they have made. Especially on the same album. The depth of their music shows their incredible talent and the respect they have for the art of making music. There is another guitar player on the opening of the 2022 Grammys. You can really hear it during the song 777. That was the player who was right for that song at that time. I love them.
