    The Lull and Nectar mattresses are both all-foam mattresses with memory foam top. Besides that, they are very different.
    The Lull is more expensive and firm than the Nectar mattress. In addition, the two mattresses have some different materials in their construction.
    The main difference is the thickness of their memory foam layers. The Lull has 1.5” of memory foam on top, and the Nectar has 4”. Because of this, the Nectar is softer and has more of a classic memory foam feel. The Nectar, on the other hand, has more of a traditional foam feel.
    The Lull felt better when I was on my back and stomach, while the Nectar felt better when I was on my side. I felt better support on the Lull and better pressure relief on the Nectar.
    Do you sleep with a partner? You’re going to want to know if you will feel your partner’s movements on your side of the bed. The Nectar is, in my opinion, better at motion isolation. You should feel less motion transfer on the Nectar mattress. Because of this, I think the Nectar is a better mattress for couples.
    Also, you should think about how much of the mattress you are going to use. If you want to lie down close to the edge or sit on the edge, you want to know about edge support. Between the two mattresses, the Lull has better edge support. I think this is because it is the firmer mattress, so I feel more secure sitting and lying down near the edge.
    So, if you are a back sleeper, stomach sleeper, or prefer a balanced foam feel, I would choose the Lull. If you are a stomach sleeper or like a classic memory foam feel, I would pick the Nectar.

    I think it’s always best to go for firm because all mattresses get softer over time.

    Very good review of both mattresses. I went with the Lull after much research. I reviewed Caspar, GreenTea, Nectar, Tuft & Needle as well as Lull. I'm more of a side sleeper, so I don"t want that sinking in the mattress , nor that overheating feeling.

      how do you like the lull? I have tried Casper, Nectar, Nolah, Tuft and Needle Mint. Nectar was hard and others were a bit too soft for me. How is the lull? Do you sink in? Do you wake up with any pain? thanks

      @@cookiecat123 Hey cb s; I can say that after a week with my Lull I am more than satisfied. I sleep much better, awake refreshed and no aches. There is a nice firmness, but not hard firmness. No sinking feeling either.I would recommend it.

    I would go with Nectar. Lull seems like it would be too soft for my liking, besides, its better to go firmer than softer since all mattresses get softer over time. I like the fact that Nectar offer a 365 nights sleep trial and a “forever warranty”. You cant beat the price for a quality mattress especially if you love a true memory foam mattress.

    I just got the nectar. I like it it’s got a soft feel but it’s firm in that has great support. I went for the nectar mainly because of the sleep bundle they give you for free. Two pillows, sheets and a mattress topper. I only got the pillows. And the pillows suck. The pillows are just a bunch of little chopped up foam pieces inside a zipped bag. Worthless. So if that free sleep bundle is tempting you don’t fall for it it’s BS

    I can’t get over your face when you’re laying the beds, what a mood lol. I was so set on a Lull until you put it into perspective that it’s only 1 1/2” of memory foam whereas the Nectar is 4”. My current twin size has a 3” memory foam topper and I’ve been sleeping on it for years now and it hasn’t really degraded or softened up over time, if anything, I want that extra inch of foam so my arms and back can relax from either side, stomach, or back sleeping. Definitely checking the Nectar out because me and my husband are getting our house soon and we need a bigger bed to sleep on than this current one 😂 I wake up with the worst back pain if I sleep on a firm mattress or something with no foam whatsoever 😭

    Hello thank you for the info. What are the materials I think nectar is tencel and lull polyester is that right and all this doesn’t Matter since you put probably a cover and sheet on top? The reason I ask is because my son has eczema trying to get a comfortable mattress but the breathable materials any info will be helpful thank you so much

    • @Mattressclarity
      @Mattressclarity  Před 5 lety

      The Lull cover is made of polyester and rayon. The Nectar cover is made from tercel. You're right.

    I have middle back issues, I purchased a bob-o-pedic which is too hot, and too firm. Got a mattress topper 3 in memory foam, still hot and now too soft. The main problem being my hips sink in too much, more than the rest of me, bending my back where I have the tightness, that few inches of muscle from the shoulder blade down. Without the topper there pressure points are too much. Help!

      Lull would be too firm for side sleeping for you but would be a good fit for back sleeping.

    Which would you say would be better for back support? I’m more of a side sleeper but I find I can really fall asleep anyway, just I fall asleep faster with my being on my side. I sprained my lower back a few weeks ago in an accident and have been needing a new mattress for longer than that.

    • @Mattressclarity
      @Mattressclarity  Před 5 lety

      I would say the Lull has better back support. However, the Nectar will feel more comfortable and is softer when on your side so there would be that tradeoff.
