Comfort for multiday use is difficult to accomplish for any dirtbike seat. They are inversely hard compared to your rear muscletone, thrn also how much you sit over bumps. I've cut down and shaped multiple seats in the past year using different vinyl and foam layers. Ill try gel inbedded for my next rebuild. Glad you found your goldilocks.
Are you sure that this is not XL Comfort "Tall" version? Because they are advertising the standard version as with the same height as the stock seat. And what is the weight of the SC XL Comfort ? Thank you for this video, very helpful.
Great feedback. I went back & looked at the receipt. It is the Tall Comfort XL | KTM. I will change the video title to be more clear. I no longer have the seat, and the weights are not advertised on the website. It was heavier than the OEM seat. I ended up transitioning to the Low Comfort | KTM, and I am still running that - super pleased.
Are those fork protectors rolled up on the forks if so which ones thanks, also where did you get those look hooks on the forks for strapping down the bike?
Hey - those are folk protectors - Shock Sox Fork Seal Guards 37-50mm Fork Tube 13" Orange. And the clamps are Canyon Dancer Triple Clamp Tie Down Strap Rings. I purchased both on Rocky Mountain ATV. Hope that helps!
