Amazing and beautiful! Has to be one of the most overlooked songs of all times. So reminiscent of the pumkins but taken to another level of composition and execution. Thank you billy!

i have no definent idea but hes mentioned God in a lot of his songs from early on. So an atheist I doubt.
In more of a Jungian, mystical way. In many interviews he refers to both Christ and Buddha as higher minds. So though he's not a fundamentalist, he's not a nihilist either..
