If you have a small coop and very few chickens, you can buy 2 or 3 gallon buckets, and if you push your waterer up against the wall, you can just put the cups on the side facing out.
Hi Josephina - my son has chickens and they're always tipping their water container over. I'm showing him this video so he can make one too. Many blessings to you and your family. Keep on keeping on.
‘Cute’ equates to happy chickens! Can’t get enough ‘cute’!!
Josefina!!! You are genius...I have chickens for many years and always give them fresh herbs to eat, but never thought to to give them herbal tea drink....thank you !!!! Subscribed and Like❤
You are so welcome and I appreciate so much that you’re following along♥️♥️
I just followed just off the name of your channel LOL Also, this video was exactly what I was looking for because Im such a beginner and had NO CLUE lol Thank you!
Thank you so much for subscribing! It means so my to me and I’m so glad I could help
Nice project and you're handy with tools, love it.
Thanks for a cool advice. I'm getting poultry in the spring and looking for ideas.

Thank you!
THANK you I'm going to make one for my chicken's ❤
Great project
Hey, I found you looking for chicken water cup videos! I love your set up. We have two hens we rescued and we adore them 💜💜 You've already given me ideas just from me seeing your yard in this video. We live in Missouri USA. Your birdies are beautiful, ours have names also, Jersey Black and Violet, they mean the world to us and we are just getting them set up. I'm following you now and sharing with my daughter. Thank you so much for your videos. 💌
This comment brought me so much joy♥️ thank you so much for supporting me and sticking around! It means so much to me
Dang so creative!!! That’s cool! For a minute when you added the herbs I thought you were pre marinating them lmao!!
🤣 it smells like I was going to marinate them too lol
👍Great job.
Nicely done young lady👍🏻🐔
Thanks😊
You look like such a badass with those tools!
I love what you are doing on your channel. You are such an inspiration. I currently live in Costa Rica, but looking to move to Mexico. Loving your recipes.
Oh my gosh! I’d love to be able to spend months at a time in Mexico. If I had the money and my husband had a flexible job I’d pack us up and take us over there to stay with family for a while so my kids could be immersed in their culture for long periods of time. We homeschool so it would be easy in that area. So much of my childhood is memories of spending weeks at a time in Mexico
And thank you so much for following my journey♥️
I found you because of Roots and Refuge. Then I fell in love with your content. My husband and I feel very blessed to have been able to retire early in life. We are from Missouri, but we wanted to travel and show our kids different cultures. I'm glad we did.
Great project, and so cute! Just wondering, what size drill bit is required. I assume it's important so that the water does not leak? Thanks again.
The packaging came with all the instructions and a request for a 3/8 drill bit! It’s been 5 days so far and no leaks! Cleaning out the cups if they get dirty is easy too, I just spray each cup with the hose and it forces out all the dirty stuff
Great job Josephina. Learned a new word today, Allicin. When you get a chance listen to Elvis Costello's song "Alison." he he he. God bless your family.
You treat you chickens so well! You can also freeze huge chunks of ice and put it for the extra hot days!
I actually freeze fruit and veggies into large Ice chunks in water and let them peck so they’re hydrating and getting frozen treats at the same time
And yes! Ice in water! Now I can do a big chunk
@@soilandsazon wonderful!!!
Here from Tik Tok!
AH! How cool!! This made my day! Thank you so much for joining!
@@soilandsazon of course! We are cut from the same cloth - I created a personal “campo life” channel too. We need more Latina homesteaders
Gonna find it!
Yes! It’s why I decided to take the leap and try because it’s disheartening not seeing faces like mine that have the similar lifestyle, growing the same ingredients, cooking with the same types of ingredients etc. My 8 year old is the one who’s been pushing me to start a channel because I wanted nothing to do with it, but I’m listening to his push and this calling I feel I’ve been given and hoping this community of Latino homesteaders on CZcams will grow!
You should put a hole in the lid so it doesn’t create a vacuum and not refill the waters cups.
It’s not a sealed lid so the water flows perfectly
I have a chicken water bucket with cups like this. I'm wondering what the best way to heat it is during the winter. We have freezing temps here. Has anyone used a water heater that works well with this set up?
That’s a great question! Hopefully someone can help you out. Where I live it rarely freezes so it’s not something I worry about
RELEASE THE ALLICIN!
What size drill are you using?
The kit I bought actually came with the attachments for my drill
Do you have an overflow problem?
Like it leaks out? Nope! Not at all! It’s almost been a year and it’s doing great
I thought you said measure down one inch and then you measured down 2.?
And a few seconds later I said I ended up doing 2 inches.
Dang so creative!!! That’s cool! For a minute when you added the herbs I thought you were pre marinating them lmao!!
🤣
