1500 miles so far. I don't ride in the rain or dirt. Pride in ownership and the bike will hold its value better 👌. Thanks for your positive feedback!!!
@@bigdummy7872 Good to hear you avoid rain and dirt. These bikes are so popular in Australia now and growing at 104% per annum while Harley's here are declining 25% per annum. They are actually quite well made in India and the pricing is very inexpensive. Would I buy one? Absolutely not. 1/2 ton and 50 bhp is not my idea of fun in any sense of the word. But I do like the look of them. All the best from Australia. My upright "cruiser" for 2022 was a Suzuki GSXS1000. Super low seat height, very inexpensive, Made in Japan, 150bhp (detuned from 2022 GSXR1000R 200bhp) and a 3 year warranty. Cheers mate.
@@theaustralianconundrum Mine is only 1/4 ton and it is absolutely a blast to ride. You obviously haven't ridden one yet!!! Anyways, keep the shinny side up, which in my case is all sides!!! BTW. Check out my Street Cup video of another underpowered yet kick ass fun bike to ride!!! Also, 150-200 hp bikes are meant for the track with full leather protection. If you use that kind of bike on the street anywhere close to its capabilities you're asking for trouble. Just saying;)
I apologize but I was unable not to comment . I can't look at a 650 GT or an Interceptor with light alloy rims... it's really an affront to the classic nature of these bikes. Greetings
No worries! Everyone's entitled to their opinion! In my eyes, they look amazing! Good news is that I still have the spoke rims as a complete set and if I ever want to change up the look it's just a 20 minute swap out! Remember to always ride safe!!!
Sparkling Clean example of a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. Love the paddock stands, how much for the two? Just purchased a 2022 British Racing Green one from my dealer here in Concord N.H Freedom Cycle. Out the door I payed $7100.00. Traded a 2012 KLR-650 with low miles. I subbed to your channel, hope you do more on the Enfield. GREAT CHANNEL MY FRIEND!!!🏁🏁

Get a short tail. Chrome too. Also next tire change get a 1size bigger tires. It will look majestic. Also if you can lean the handlebar a little about 5% more aggressive, 😍😍😍 offf.. makes me high
Thanks so much for making this video. I have the same bike. :) Did you notice much of an improvement when you put on the Bridgestones (46?), as compared to the stock tires? I'm trying to decide between the Bridgestones or some Continentals as my next mod...thanks for any input/advice.
I love the Bridgestone tires. Great grip and super stable at speed. No wandering or tracking. Only increase the rear to 140 so you won't have issues with rubbing on the chain or chain guard. Thanks for the positive feedback!
@@bigdummy7872 Thanks so much for your reply. I appreciate it...I see your California plates. :) I'm born and raised, and lived my first 55 years on this earth in Redondo Beach, CA 90227. I live on a Greek island now, but California will always be home. I'll continue to look for your videos regarding your GT 650. Thanks again.
@@bigdummy7872 Ha! That's awesome. :) South Bay Hospital in Redondo? That's where I was born. 1962. I'm a south Redondo kid, but went to Bishop Montgomery High just over the border in Torrance. I also was a teacher at Mira Costa High in Manhattan Beach for 20 years. Still have my house in Redondo, which I rent-out. We went back for a visit last year. First time I was home in 6 years. I miss it, but living on a Greek island is sort of like being back in Redondo in the 1960's/70's. lol Simple, good, safe life. Hey; what besides the tires, would you mod on our bikes? I'm good on cosmetic stuff. A bit more conservative than you. Ha! :) Looking mostly for comfort/safety mods. I'm not that interested in increasing top-end speed. I'm gonna do the tires and upgrade the front suspension with YSS kit from Hitchcock's, in the UK, next. Check-out their site, if you haven't already. Would love to pick your brain on some mods I'm thinking of; upgrade brakes, rear suspension, throttle response, drop some of the heavy ass weight, pipes, etc. Anyway, great to connect and I appreciate your tips on the GT 650. I'm loving mine. Long live Redondo Beach! :)

Oh no, this is a huge problem! Those alloys have a tendency of breaking down on bumps. Stay away from Royal Erado or similar brands. These are made from sub standard materials. This is why most of the 650 owners don’t swap out with these here in India. Royal Enfield is currently testing it’s oem alloys on mules. Just wait it out. But please, stay away from these!
Thanks for your concern. However, I'm not planning on riding the bike off a cliff!!! I will monitor them for any possible issues, and so far, they've performed flawlessly.
The wheels were purchased on eBay from royal-sparzo. They are very well made as I did my own bearing and tire installation as well as balancing. Thanks again for your comments.
@@bigdummy7872 I don’t doubt your proficiency in installing/balancing the wheel, but the fact that these are heavier, leads to worse handling, requires spacers, and poses a constant threat of breaking even under the slightest bumps is something you shouldn’t ignore. I understand if these are purely installed for aesthetics, then everything becomes secondary. Also Royal sprazo, erado, prado, they’re all the same. Ride safe!

Wow that's a cool looking bike.
Why install alloys, the spoked wheels are fantastic.
I just sealed the spokes myself and am running them on the stock tyres, tubeless
