This game looks like it's going to be SO much darker than anything we've ever seen before. I'm hoping it has the same vibes as Majora's Mask. The idea that Hyrule is facing a threat so powerful that even ZELDA HERSELF doesn't know if Link can stop it.... That's saying something. Also, GANON VOICE ACTOR?!

Really reminds me of Twilight Princess in the enemy design and overall tone. Looks awesome.
This one may have actual dungeons. If you look in the background in several places, there are doorways highlighted green or red. Ganondorf's minions seem to be mining for some kind of red veined mineral...so maybe all the dungeons are either underground or are the platforms in the sky? Some of the floating areas look pretty elaborate.
I am not a big fan of dungeons tbh.

Changes that need to be made
1) A vast variety of UNIQUE enemies not just the 12 we got in the first one & reskinned bosses (hopefully darknut type of villain)
2) We need temples back that’s what made other Zelda games so fun
3) More life throughout the world. As amazing a BOW was it felt just a slight bit empty after a while
4) Add changes to the world so it doesn’t feel like a copy and paste of BOW with a floating castle in the sky.

This is looking great but I still feel like we need a deep dive into the gameplay to see what really makes this different to breath of the wild. What helped breath of the wild was the Treehouse presentation after e3 which really gave us a deep look at what the game was about. I have a faith but I’m just curious
Yeah, I'm finding everything a bit underwhelming in this aspect. Specially when they decide to show the same mobs from the previous game and only one new semi-boss. Hope they're hiding like 95% of the game in these trailers.

I grew up loving Zelda games, Ocarina, Link to the Past, Links Awakening etc. Its like all the people here that are so excited, never played those old games or something. To me, this doesnt look interesting, new, or unique in the slightest. Games have come so far, and Nintendo is 10 years behind. Especially after Elden Ring..... this is will be a borrrreeeee. I was so excited for BotW, but it had so many bad game design decisions, lack of variety, emptinessssssss....

My only major complaint about botw was the lack of boss/temple diversity. I just hope totk will be more diverse than divine beast reskins.
Another complaint was enemy variety, but this trailer seems to dispel this with the new flying enemies and the large bokoblin! I hope this game fixes those other complaints too

@@muzzypwnyouNintendo has had a LONG time to work on this game, especially since they work on the next game before the one they’re working on is even finished in other words they’ve had since 2017 to work on Tears of the Kingdom. And now that it’s 2023 it’s been roughly 6 years since BOTW was released, combined with the fact that they’re using the same base for the overworld, and the same graphics, and Nintendo has had a long time to work on this game, so with all that time put into the game, Nintendo would HAVE to be diverse with how the game plays.

I wanted to watch the trailer again and didn't realize that I clicked on Nintendo UK not Nintendo US so freaked out and thought the game got pushed back to December 5th before I realized I was on the UK site and the date convention is date, month, and then year.
And here comes hundreds of CZcams videos overanalyzing every single pixel of this trailer until the game comes out in May

Same ive been weary of the growing hype, hype is good but too much can ruin the expectations of the game
It's clear that this will be more focused on what seems to be the Zonai, but it does look like the technology of the Shiekah has not disappeared. I really can't wait, and I just know Mercer is going to do a phenomenal job as Ganondorf.
