Love the presentation. Would have love to see the transmitter up close or how it was built.

There are special websites, forums and FB groups dedicated to that. On these resources you can find designs, explanations, and even launch events where you can see it live. Good luck!

Look up “Rain Power”. Possible to make light weight charger onboard. Just needs water / condensation to run over panel.

Very interesting. Thank you for posting this. I wonder if any of the payloads have been recovered after the balloons come down.

It's a good question but I'm sure that they are not designed to be picked up at the end of the journey.

I watched another video where some Polish hams found and returned a balloon to the states.

Probably i'm on a list now, like how to make the Air Force to waste a 40,000 Sidewinder

If you could find a balloon made of PTFE and cover part of it with foil, when water molecules hit it, electricity will be generated, the actual balloon can charge the unit. This hasn’t been invented yet because I just thought of it.

it you could metalise the top half, you could do that AND put a 2.4ghz transmitter inside the balloon and use the foil top as a parabolic reflector giving a very strong signal below. possibly an esp8266 store and forward repeater

What happens when Uncle Joe shoots it down with a $400,000 missile?
