- Family information remains in the minds of the aging village elders in Africa and only passed down orally. FamilySearch seeks to fund the collection of this information before it is lost forever.
wow hi guys ! i would love to be apart of this you guys are my family I have skills, talents, and natural abilities sure to contribute to your program and the advancement of africa and its people in and out of the diaspora
EVERY person matters. Every person deserves to have a RECORD that they lived! I have developed a genuine love for these great people. It is a privilege to be engaged in providing them the ability to discover their heritage and ancestors that bind us and help us to become what we are to become.
wonderfull program
If you want to help collect the family data or work in the oral genealogy project.. you just have to connect to contractors and get trained and start working with one

Great video, but what are the available action steps?
I found a donation link on the Vimeo version of this video: vimeo.com/218303022
Hopefully it gets added, but for now here is a link to donate to FamilySearch. Apparently you cannot select a specific project, but they are prioritizing this project. www.ldsphilanthropies.org/familysearch
There's no link or information about how we can help. Can someone update this or give us a link or further info...

@@alexomole1282 That link is for a generic donation. It does not give you the option to make it a condition that you want your donation to go this particular course,.
@@Njoofene try visiting the following link. You'll see the video and some text, and also that when you click "Donate Online" it takes you to the link alex omole posted above. philanthropies.churchofjesuschrist.org/familysearch/news-features/oral-histories-project-saving-families
