My daughter and I have started our journey back into our family's beginning, The L.D S. Family Search has been very enlightening ,although I am not too sure about some of my " ancestors " as their history is stunning to say the least. How ever we never really know who we are until we " see" our ancestors and a small view of their lives. I asked my mother once what our ethnicity was, she said " we are a dukes mixture" ,I am very proud of that fact as I believe that is America , and if I don't sound too vain, that is what makes our people beautiful .The best of each race makes a beautiful people.🇺🇸👵🏻 🌈 🌎🌈
A few years ago I was contacted by a cousin that I had no idea I had. It took two years of asking questions. My mother was one of 10 brothers and sisters still living.. With sensitivity and luck we found a daughter given up for adoption over 50 years ago. I was wonderful.
It has been quite a while long few months. I hope & pray FamilySearch would help us back together in one big family today, tomorrow, and forever. Gob Bless Us All.
I 've been using family search.or for several years now. i found my great grandmother's father dating back from Ireland and to Ohio where they settle during the 1700s to 1800s I'm proud to have a melting pot of linage's from Ireland,Germany,England ended up learning that a few ancestors play apart in the civil war and i learn I'm kin to stonewall Jackson and kin to the singer johnny cash and i'm half Cherokee and Monacan indian

A little over 15 years ago I found out that I have two half sisters. Through Ancestry.com, and Family Search.org I found them. Had DNA tests and found that we are related. It was a shock for them, and we haven't met yet, but still, my long search is almost complete. Thank you all.

Yes. Many Koreans are putting their deceased ancestors name in familysearch.org. Typically, they are typed in Korean like 홍길동. Also, there are many Korean genealogy books (족보) are accessible in this website.
My story is of frustration with Ancestry and family search. A lot of bogus claims and wrong information. Another issue is the restrictions placed public records in the name of profit.
