I’ve called in numerous times into your help line, however, despite chatting with some wonderful people answering the helpline, I was never able to speak to someone in your IT department about the blurry view on all the records in the Veneto, Italy collection.

    I've locked out my family tree on three different research media outlets in order to keep myself safe and protect my reputation. (Some of my relatives are just not moral beings, and that could be quite embarrassing if that got out.) Although, I only have three names on my family tree so far. And I've not checked my family trees in 11 month so things could have changed by now. However, I've had a DNA test, which I've also blocked to everyone but myself... So why am I not getting any responses~?!!!...

    • @lynnjohnson886
      @lynnjohnson886 Před 2 lety

      Probably because you've either blocked or locked any information on your tree. You have to supply all the information you know, names you know and relationships in order to get any responses or leads. We all have "black sheep" in our family history, that doesn't make you one due to contact or relationship. You either want the information or you don't....in your case, you're too embarrassed to get it.

      Hi Lisa! We're sorry you're having trouble with your research efforts. If you'd like, FamilySearch offers free research consultations that can help point you in the right direction. You can even specify that you want help specifically with Germany and get help from a Research Specialist at the Family History Library.
      There's a RootsTech session all about it here: www.familysearch.org/rootstech/rtc2021/session/free-research-help-from-the-family-history-library-research-strategy-sessions
      Or you can sign up for a session here: go.oncehub.com/ResearchStrategySession
      Hope this helps!
