So I am not so sure if he understands this (you need to look out of your box). I assume nearly everyone was a victim to some kind of bullying/abuse by other kids, as kids tends to be very brutal (mentally or phisically), and as Alexander said, its not only about one color of the skin. So when you think of it like that it could have been racism, but it also could have been stupid kids that were frustrated of him winning with them and it was easiest way to let frustration go away and to get in to his head. The reason why Lewis is so good, is because he is not from money - unlike 95% of the grid in F1. When you're not from money, when you have nothing to fall back on, when your dad worked 3 jobs just to give you a chance against kids spending 5x that on a karting hobby, you're given something people who buy their way there will never have.

If your dad is a billionaire (like lando norris) you’re likely going to beat the other kids karting because you have a brand new kart/engine/tires every race. There's no way that in all these years, Lewis is still the only black guy who had such an interest and talent in racing to make it. Nah, I don't buy that. There's got to be others, but something is standing in their way. Racism isn't always blatant or just hurling the n-word at people, it's a whole system of little things that add up to block the way.
