Why is this worded like King is a bad character lol, King is very good on this game, and prowess also scales with what rank your other characters are. He's extremely good(obviously) with King, but also has some other characters very high up, hence why his prowess is so high
@@rayvon7534 I think at his levels, it's flooded with the top tiers, which have pretty big power gaps over the middle-high tier. DVJ, Drag, Azu, Jin, Feng Wei,.

I play king cause of you majin. And this my first Tekken. I feel that with king you get saucy combos and do no damage compared to other characters
Thanks @swampgator101! King definitely has the worst/least damaging wall combo enders on the game. Just have to compensate with counter hits and armor. Risky, but fun.

And for anyone on controller I just realised today looking at control options that you can map the square and circle button together as a trigger. It’s helped me hugely.
i have 1+4, 2+3, 1+2, and 3+4 binded and it makes every chain throw way easier

Majin it would be a dream come true if you could 1v1 devilster
You can jab DJ when he flys at you for a float combo after he shoots out that red chain, including when you block the heat smash. That wasn’t taken advantage of this series.
Decent DVJ usually use 2 instead of 1 after MC since it can be SS left or jabbed out of the air.
@@silenthero2795 Not really no, although it is the one option he has outside of heat to beat that, it's also a risk I don't do too often outside of the occasional mindgame. I did it a couple of times in this set though

To input it do f2, d1, 2 be careful doing the full string in neutral tho since it’s launch punishable if you do the full string on block.

I believe u know how to break his heat burst attack, but I just wanted to remind u with the technique.. when he does the heat burst attack keep blocking until he finishes his second punch. Afterward this is where u can break through his annoying attack .. just punch him with 1.. now it’s ur turn smash him ..

Lil Majin. Is there a reason u don't use the low kick combo by King he's infamous for wit the spin elbow finish. I'm a noob but retiree Tekken player since pt 2. So please excuse my ignorance.

In my experience crossplay is bad when it's with a good amount of PC players. Console crossplay seems fine usually

I was fortunate here.
Example: Dragunov is obviously has +high frame and much faster than many characters. Moreover, most characters their combo damage will decrease gradually as you continue hitting you opponent, while this is not happening with dragunov. His combo damage rate stays the same as he continue hitting you which obviously unfair.. I hope they fix this issue with many characters in tekken 8.

I believe there are several characters who are considered to be glitch in tekken 8 .. Namco (tekken team) should reconsider the huge imbalance between characters.. They should review the frames for most characters, otherwise it’s gonna be a unfair.
Why you not using F3 as frequent as before Majin?
This set I was more so testing out muscle armor and more pushing
I just noticed the difference between lil majins and devil jins ducks are lil majins are intentional as he sees the lows. Devil jins just randomly ducking hoping to get punishments. That is where the skill differentiate.
6:17 If he was a smarter devil Jin, would have gone for b3 into forward for a heat extender mixup which would have put him into plus frames even if blocked. Using heat smash so close to king is dumb. It's startup frames are slow.

He was +4 after the HS so he'd naturally assumed Majin probably wouldn't press and that's part of the mind game anyway, b3 is too risky of a move to throw around like that unless u have a hard read.

It's always a good idea to press so the heat gets wasted away as the animation and frame start up will never initiatethat close unless Majin were to stop pressing and gift wrap the smash to devil Jin, something obviously he wouldn't do. As momodog quoted "they will always bully dvj in heat when they are close to him." Also, back 3 is not a risky move at all when used with heat extender, its not punishable, and almost impossible to side step when your opponent (in this case Majin) is next to the wall. @@aephyn_
