With that Metronome and Fury Cutter, all you needed was two attacks and either a slow Pokémon or one he was strong against and he was OKing mostly everything. I love Kricketune.

I'll have to 100% agree with including Spiritomb. I was even going to use one on my team, but then found out interacting with other players underground isn't all that easy. You can't go up to them and press A to interact, so it's difficult to keep track of who you're talking to and how many people you've talked to. All you get is this weird call option where you make an image go over your head. Yeah, you can also talk to NPCs underground to contribute to that number, but after walking around a few times to find Togepi, I have only ever found one NPC not including the Hikers. Yeah, take it from someone who made somewhat of an attempt, don't bother with Spiritomb. You're better off breeding on in Sword and Shield and Banking it over to your games if you really need one. The method to get one there is SIGNIFICANTLY easier and less needlessly complicated.
    UPDATE:
So...I ended up managing to get one. Turns out, in the post-game, you actually benefit from spending a lot of time underground, so I spent the past day combing through all the areas in the game. Still a little annoyed with how it was handled, though. The NPCs shift, as it turns out, so it's impossible to keep track of them.

I have to fully disagree on Mothim and Wormadam; they get quiver dance at level 20, and having such a strong move so early is truly underrated. At +1 speed with max investment, Mothim outspends max speed base 123 Pokémon.
Also Wormadam-Grass will have the bulk to potentially set up multiple Quiver Dances, and stay healthy with Giga Drain, while Sandy form will help boost its lower defensive stats, and Trash Coat gets to boost up against those x4 super effective Flamethrowers.
While they won’t be gamebreaking, getting quiver dance before Gardenia will really be OP, at least for a few badges.

Most of these belong here though. A lot of these Pokémon can be decent in trick room. Especially Rampardos. I think I’ll just be using Abomasnow or Spiritomb on this list. I’m already bothering with a Milotic in this game. And that’s…not easy to do.
