@@tizerk Because it is just some simple electronic music. Yes it is beautiful and nice, but doesn't come close to orchestral and choral pieces of soundtrack that other games get in terms of complexity

@@lighterinthestorm Besides Beat Saber doesn't have THAT many good original songs, most are already known songs or remixes. And adding insult to injury, many of the most popular maps are custom.

This is by far the hardest level not just because it's the last one, but because you're not only contending with insane speed but also with too much sparkles clogging up your Ram and with tears distracting your eyes
TE:C cannot run on my laptop without killing the battery even when it’s charging so when I got to this stage my battery was at 10% putting me on a literal time limit to beat the stage
Gotta hand it to the developers, they managed to turn Tetris into an emotional experience somehow
So glad they made this a ps4 theme! I'm never changing it! Lol

Not exactly the perfect end. I still can’t beat this level on anything except Beginner with all the particles and effects turned off. And that’s after 5 times, a load of stress, and some full on panic attacks.

I was high af when i hit this level and the music coupled with the visuals were so beautiful I couldn’t concentrate gameplay, I was crying of joy
Not ashamed to admit, im a grown up man and I was bawling by the time I finished the stage. Beautiful, emotional end to an amazing experience. And btw- crying with a vr headset on- not a good idea.
Like...what are the logistics of that? You can't damage/gunk up a VR headset by crying in it, can you?
I cant wait to get the VR, but I too got and still do get emotional on this stage, especially near the end of it.

I didn't care, I shed tears like never before. Each sounds and the singing were touching my soul so deeply.
The sense of accomplishment beating this as the final song/challenge in journey really did feel like some sort of metamorphosis . It forced me to learn SO MUCH and made me a far better player by the end. When that crescendo and her voice hit as you nailed that last line was just ORGASMIC and gave me goose bumps. ( I never get those... like ever?) The lyrics sure push that feeling along too.
God dammit Mizuguchi.
I've not had a game give me that... Ever? And Bloodborne/ Souls is my favorite series?!

Just achieved a perfectris this afternoon in the final archive. Near the end, the tetriminoes were falling too fast, so I just finished it line by line , taking in the final piece of the song.

I'm not gonna lie... cried on this level my mom passed away not to long ago and the song just hit me like a ton of bricks and I broke down. It took me a year to finish the stage... great song felt like it was written for me

Tears streamed down my eyes the first time I played this stage. I've never been so affected (no pun intended) by music in my life, before or sense.

There is something very SPECIAL about tetris vr..I'm glad I'm not the only one who actually teared up while playing it..Its almost a Spiritual Experience..I dont know what exactly triggered it for me..Maybe it's all of it the visuals, music(Kate Brady is Amazing), or gameplay..Eitherway. I never had a feeling like that before while playing a videogame..Good Stuff Sony!!

We listened to this on New Years last year and this song just made it feel surreal, it was the back screen for our ps4.
It's fucking insane to me how good this is. I've known for a long time that games can have amazing soundtracks, but i still get blown away by how great this Tetris game's OST is. And i haven't even played it!!
I remembered when I first finished the game. The tears wouldn't stop coming down. What an emotional road trip with this game? It is a must have w the soundtrack and I need to do two things. One, make a Tetris Effect DLC from Tetris 99 and please make a sequel.

Last 10 lines, but I made a horrible hard drop play. Saw my entire gameplan and construction crumble right before me. Instinctively started playing halfhearted since winning at that point was a pipedream. But something told me I couldn't give up completely, not after so much progress. As more and more mistakes built up so did the panic and dread of failure. Then a miracle happened, and she asked me;
_"What could you be afraid of?"_
That's a feeling you can only experience once in life.

This game is not only Tetris. And it is not only a game... it solves knots in your mind and soul if you allow.
As I finished Tetris Effect for the first time, in the outro screen, I shed tears of joy.
I never really got into Tetris before. I was looking through different games during a sale on the PlayStation store. Funny enough, this wasn’t even on sale, it was just on the recommended tabs. It stood out though. So I watched the trailer and did a little research. And idk why but something immediately clicked with me. I stopped looking up info on it because I didn’t want anything spoiled, and the following day I bought the physical edition that was half the price.
2 weeks later, after getting pounded by this level over and over again, something clicked again. My reactions got faster and I beat it without breaking above 5 lines. It felt so goddamn good. I love this game.

One day I figured out how to turn on the high resolution on my tv, and played this level right away, and hit slow mode just as the mermaids dissolved and saw a wash of rainbow slowly explode across the screen in such vivid colors. It was honestly one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen
this song was already amazing to listen to, but 5:08 is just perfection. It captures what the whole game has been, a world we never could dream of but we know will always be there. Maybe it’s symbolizing our own Earth, and we should go explore that world, and if that’s the message, then I’ll take it
As metal head I can appreciate this type of music.
This last level has been kicking my ass all day and I don't even care.
Once in the final leg of the soundtrack, I no longer worry about soft, hard drops. Just let gravity do the work!

I’ve played Journey Mode last night, though I stacked out a few times. At 90 lines achieved infinite stasis mode,

If ya’ll enjoyed Tetris Effect, you should also give Child of Eden a try! Essentially the same creators and is affiliated with the Japanese band, Genki Rockets! Totally worth the listen I promise!
I was pretty surprised they didn't get Rei Yusada from Genki Rockets to perform a song for Tetris Effect! That would've been a great nod to Child of Eden.
Or Rez Infinite. Child of Eden was a prequel to the 2000 game Rez, and Infinite is a remake of that game. Its new "Area X" mode uses similar effects to this, and allows you to look around and explore more.
Finally someone mentions that gorgeous masterpiece!!! It's one of my treasures. I wish we can have a PC HD port with VR support

Nostalgia hits hard with this one
I just finished this level after 2984638295 attempts, I felt like my brain was not enough for this freaking level!! I kept feeling anxious waiting for the blocks to start going insanely fast on me and THEN... I paid attention to the lyrics of the song "what could you be afraid of if I'm right here with you... show me what you are made of cause I'm always with you, cmon we could be together!!!!" OMG!!!! I got so emotional and empowered and suddenly I felt unstoppable and finished
the level! All this happened using PSVR so it was 10X times more intense of an experience. WOW!
Even on normal mode, this stage is quite a brutal challenge to overcome. You gotta have very sharp eyes and fast reaction time to beat this. The music makes for a great calming balancing effect to help counter the intensity of the stage.

I actually have mild synesthesia (I think that's how it's spelled), where I can actually equate music with colors and patterns, even smells or tastes on occasion, and these are really close to the sort of mental images I get with this music.
