Makes 6-8 cups
Ingredients:
225g (8oz) Dark chocolate
5 tablespoons (70g) Coconut oil (for the chocolate mixture)
1/2 cup (125g) Natural creamy peanut butter
3 tablespoons (42g) Coconut oil (for the peanut butter mixture)
Directions:
1. Prepare 8* silicone muffin cups or paper cupcakes liners.
2. Chop the chocolate and place into a heatproof bowl, add half of the coconut oil.
3. Set the bowl over a pot with simmering water (double boiler). Melt the chocolate completely, turn the heat off, leave the bowl on the pot to keep the chocolate warm and melted.
4. In a separate bowl mix together peanut butter with the remaining coconut oil.
5. Fill each muffin cup with 1-2 tablespoons of melted chocolate and place in the freezer for 15 minutes, until set. Then, pour 1-2 teaspoons of the peanut butter mixture to each cup and place in the freezer for another 15 minutes. Then, pour another portion of melted chocolate on the top of the peanut butter layer. Place in the fridge until set.
Notes:
• In the video I used 6 muffin cups for this quantity, BUT they coming pretty big for one person, so I highly recommend to divide the filling among 8 cups. Make sure the chocolate layers are not too thick, otherwise it will be too hard to bite.
• Store the cups in the fridge, if you store them in the freezer, place in room temperature 30 minutes before serving.
• For the chocolate layers, you can use combination of dark and milk chocolate, or just milk chocolate. - Jak na to + styl
For all of you asking about the oil substitutes, I’m sure you don’t need oil. Store bought chocolate already has oil and doesn’t need oil for it to melt and the peanut butter doesn’t need oil either since it’s mostly fat as well. For the peanut butter I would add agave or some liquid sweetener since this has basically no sugar and I need my sugar.
Totally agree. Too much oil already!
The oil is to harden the chocolate
Use cacao butter to harden the chocolate. Then you don't get coconut flavor.
Processed peanut butter is overloaded with sugar.
Maybe to thin out the consistency? I might give these a try.
The 2nd soundtrack made it look like you're doing some spy thing, with the cupcakes 🤘🏼🤣
Aaaaa yes bro😆😆😆
lol. would you call them cupcakes though?
Lol yeah he picked a banger for that one
Your videos make my day every time! Very well done 😁
How is the final product? I've tried a similar recipe and found the chocolate to hard/brittle while the peanut butter was too goopy unless i added powdered sugar. Anything like that here? Thanks again!
This look so creative I love the out look. Im try this tomorrow yesss❤❤❤❤
Natural PB with Coconut oil can't be wrong. Gotta make these.
Cool recipe, thanks for that! ! 🙏🏼🌻 Will save it to the playlist soon.⚓☀
this looks even better, the brown color in the middle makes it look fun.
Yummy a must try.Thank you
Okay why do these look so perfect
it may look different from Reeses, but it's a good alternative.
Your right
You are right
@Clarify
Doesn’t the real deal peanut butter cup use milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate? (Or what is supposed to taste like milk chocolate at least?)? Haha.
I love this music, it’s part James Bond, part Nirvana. I’m making these chocolates tonight!
They are beautiful wow!!
I made peanut butter cups from your recipe and they were wonderful!

Teachers : “Alright. Today, we’re learning about sensory. What senses do you need for watching videos?”
Me : “Sound, sight, and taste.”
Teachers : “You can’t taste videos.”
Me :
it's extremely bitter without sweeteners. how it looks is not how it tastes.
@Conor D y
@@jacobtex4611 so would you suggest putting in a sweetener?
@@nuggets9161 if you have some monkfruit then ok, but erythritol and stevia taste awful imo

I think I'll make them and add my homemade caramel to the peanut butter, then drizzle the top with a little more caramel and sea salt! Mmmm
Thanks for the idea!!!
I live in a very hot and tropical country and am wondering if the chocolate will melt when left outside the fridge. Can I add a bit of gelatin to help it
Like how the bro instinctually smelled it first jajaja
Bravo
Do we can add butter instead of coconut oil
Yum making it now!
Conor D it was so good! Just takes time
Conor D and you need less chocolate becuaee it hardens and the peanut butter doesn’t so it just oozes out everywhere lol
Please make a video on "chocolate cake"
I like that he put coconut oil ..to me that would bring flavor and shine
Could I use coconut cream instead?
Yummy
Can I use se butter instead of coconut oil?
wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where can you get the reuseable cups from?!
Great 👌👌👌
Wow
Hi, those look so delicious. What can I use instead of the coconut oil?
I know this is late but instead you can use butter or add icing sugar for a thicker paste
Use cacao butter instead of coconut oil so the treat hardens. If the chocolate is too dark, add cashews/cashew cream (or some other 'filler') to make it more like milk chocolate. Sweeten with monk fruit is an option.

How many calories in one cup?
Perfect!
Thanks

Fridge is ok
Omggg ! So good 😍🤤
Thank you
What is the 2nd piece of music?
Please what can we use instead of coconut oil
Olive or sunflower oil will work. If you are not vegan maybe butter.
Is using cocount oil necessary......can i skip it?
Please tell how to store these chocolate cupcakes
Can use milk chocolate ??
I already tried this, it's good but it melts easily
@Conor D yep its not that sweet❤
I tried making pb cups last weekend however they didn't do well being out of the fridge for a 35 min ride home the peanut butter became runny. Why is that?
Because fats at a higher temperature melt. Depending on the fat content they wont stay stable at room temperature let alone higher.
Amazing can i use butter?
Yes, you can
Vegan....... Yay.......yummmmm......... 😋😋😋😋😋
Substitute for the coconut oil please?
U can use butter
Demasiado dulce
Andrey Caicedo creo que las capas son demasiado gruesas
What does the coconut oil do?
Help it freeze ig....
Has anyone here made this recipe with butter? What proportions did you use? Butter has less saturated fats than coconut oil and is also solid at room temperature, so is a decent substitute. Also, where do you store these? Fridge or freezer, or my food cupboard? Thanks 👍🏼
How many cupcake liners should be used ? 8 or 12?
I think she used six but how does it matter....?
Hi can we use any other oil instead of coconut oil as someone can be allergic to coconut or coconut products. Pls do reply🙏

Can I substitute the coconut oil for something else? I dislike the taste a lot.
Can coconut oil be substituted with butter?? Awaiting your reply
I hope so, but I suspect it wouldn't be vegan, then.😊
Yes, you can use butter.
Butter it is then.
Vegan I'm not.
Disclaimer-No animal will be slaughtered for my taste. My cow's lovingly roam the padocks happily chewing on grass, to give me milk and cream to devour.
Can we use hersheys chocolate syrup or nutters instead of dark chocolate?

What if I don’t have coconut oil?
Guys I use avacado oil which is a healthy substitute and taste the same to me!
Can we use butter instead of coconut oil?

It would be perfect if u can put each serve is how many calories .
A lot!
How about food grade cocoa butter. But not knocking coconut oil for it makes fried potatoes and fried eggs better than vegetable oil.
Can we use butter or ghee no coconut oil
Yes
Magnificent 😋😋🍫🥜
I wonder if using powdered peanut butter will work for a healthier version.
Can we use vegetable oil instead of coconut oil?
No
It's gotta be solid at room temp
What else can be used instead of coconut oil?
Motor oil
wait no
Just leave it out
Hi, I love your recipe but I have a question - my melted chocolate and peanut butter are creamy and slightly thick, how to make them like yours that is a bit liquid? Thank you.
When you stirring the chocolate/peanut butter with coconut oil, it turns more liquid.
Thanks for your reply! I used butter instead of coconut oil, so I will not get the same effect?
Nice background music... 😁😁😁
yeah we call them resse`s
Do I have to add the coconut oil?
Judie Mosaad no you can add water I added water and it taste good. :) sorry this was late but yea.
what happens if theres no coconut oil or no oil at all?
Still good, I made them with powered sugar with peanut butter and melt chocolate. It was good. I might add something sweet in the melted chocolate for this batch because I am using a mix of 86% & 90+% coco, if it's too bitter
Cn i substitute butter for coconut oil?
Hmmmmm
How many calories?
approx. 2,793 calories for the whole batch. (I think I added it up correctly.) In this case considering 6 cups, each one is approx. 465.5 calories. So plan accordingly and make smaller ones. OR if you have enough will power, only eat half of one and share the other half with someone else. :-)
Lol I'll just mix some nutella and peanut butter and freeze it inside baking cups
Just like reses

Healthy? More fat than fat and more sugar than sugar. No protein, but i love it.
But he's using good fats and natural peanut butter doesn't have added sugar. A little naughty is okay sometimes 💜
Peanuts are actually a legume and have more protein than any other nut with levels comparable to or better than a serving of beans.
Why do we need to add more coconut oil to the peanut butter??? That's just way too much! :/
