Joanne created Fifteen Spatulas to show people the cooking from scratch isn't as intimidating as they might think. On the blog you'll find recipes with step-by-step photos and explanations of the how's and why's of cooking (like why patting a steak dry before searing is so important, or how the hardness of your tap water can affect the strength of your bread dough). Happy cooking! - Jak na to + styl
You can also multiply the whole recipe by 10 and make a peanut butter cup for a really bad day
The only problem with this prep is that when you bite into them the peanut butter mix will come squishing out. I would suggest that you paint the first bit of chocolate up the sides of the cupcake paper holder and then follow on from there as demonstrated in the video. You can always shave of the little extra bit of chocolate to smothen the edge. And then you have a fully enclosed home-made peanut butter cup :)
Must make this when you have a bad day. So much banging. Hope the neighbours don't complain. Nice recipe.
Hi Alexandra, I recommend freezing all layers before proceeding to the next, so it has a chance to set and lay flat before adding the next. So in other words, yes =) Enjoy the peanut butter cups!
I accidently ate all the peanut butter cups my parents ordered now I won't have to explain to them that I ate the peanut butter cups all I have to do is maje them! C:
The whisk probably won't be strong enough because the mixture is very thick, but you could use something like a wooden spoon, and just make sure everything is very well mixed.
OMG! I loooove Reese's and this is the perfect recipe! Thank you so much!!!
I'm so happy to hear that! Glad you enjoyed them.
Why do I always watch food videos when I'm hungry? -_-
I know im fasting for ramadan i always have to watch food videos
HijakedHaker12 lol me too
It's normal haha me too :)
I do exactly the same I guess since we are hungry our mind is thinking about food hoping we will eat something!
Frozen Songs Ikr? I am hungry too! :P
I love peanut butter and chocolate together...such a great combo!
YAY! That's awesome, so glad to hear it!
Thanks! They're easy and so good!
YAY! So glad to hear it.
You toss it in the freezer after that layer briefly to set it, but it never really freezes, just chills.
If you use regular sugar it won't dissolve, and you'll have crunchy granules in the peanut butter.
I love that idea!
This is a wonderful suggestion. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, hope you enjoy!
YAY! That's awesome. They make a great gift.
I hate you because of your super awesomeness! I'm going to make this one with my kids soon and I will let you know when I do! And shame on you Joanne, for melting the chocolate the lazy way. :)
That's great! I love them too.
That's great Jamie! Glad you loved them!
Simply beautiful. So easy to follow this recipe. Thanks for sharing.
That's really sweet, enjoy them!
Love love love that you made these with white chocolate! Good idea to cut down on the sugar too because white chocolate is so sweet!
Sounds good! If you want a softer chocolate experience you should make a chocolate ganache (with cream).
You have the best ideas ever!!! WOW
these are my favorite and im always trying to make them
OMG, these look amazing !!
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy the recipe videos =)
wow so easy and quick love it cant wait to make these

Peanut butter & chocolate, what's not to love? You make it look so easy to make your own peanut butter cups and I love the idea of using the cookie scoop. We have a Buckeye Brownie recipe that is a classic...main ingredients are (you guessed it!) peanut butter and chocolate!

I have got to tell my mom about this, me and her both LOVE peanut butter and reeses pieces. Now I can have them whenever I want without having to buy a bunch of them!!
If I don't have kids should I become pregnant and wait until they are old enough to band the tin on the counter? Because I will.
Yup. You must.

Thank you this recipe was great
Thanks =) It's a classic!
Hi Lexy, if you're looking for a softer chocolate experience, you can make a chocolate ganache. I can't post links here but if you google it you will find out how to make it (it's just chocolate with heavy cream added to it).
Your vids are so easy to follow and no nonsense. Thank u!
Thank you, I hope you are enjoying the recipes!
Fifteen Spatulas why not milk instead of butter to melt the peanut butter? just wondering why all videos use butter
They look very nice. I would love to make these sometime.
agreed! looks like the ones you buy from the grocery store!
D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!!!!!!!!!! My family LOOOOVES them! Thank you so much for the recipe :)
Hi Julia, you can definitely make adjustments as you see fit. The sugar and butter are there for sweetness and texture, but using regular peanut butter would be fine.
Just made it. It taste awesome! Thank you so much
***** Awesome!!
THANK YOU .for this video it look so good ..be bless
Thanks!!
It should work fine, it might have a thicker consistency and won't be sweet, but try and see if you like it, it might suit your tastes. And yes, I still suggest freezing each layer so they stay a bit separated.
Amazing
YAY!
So gooood
That's a great suggestion.
