Hoping your travels east were dry and uneventful on the Monday.
I had to comment on this post. We were the locals who slid up to the Peaks for this gathering. We've wanted to meet J & M for quite a while now, the Peaks trip gave us a prime opportunity. You both are wonderful people and party hosts. Your hospitality is especially gracious since there's no 'requirement or expectation' that y'all serve as the hosts. Thank you so much for those memories.
Here's what I had to log in and say: I have never met a better bunch of folks in any one spot in my life. We were so impressed and delighted by the comradery, humor, fellowship and simply the general fun of all of the folks attending the Peaks gathering.
Our thank you to each of you... this trip was our visceral and humble pleasure and privilege to meet all of you!

So great to hear from you, Trent! We enjoyed meeting you, your better half Laura and your sidekick Leonard. Your kind words are much appreciated. We are always amazed and thrilled at what great people the spyder has connected us with. Hopefully John’s next video will capture more of that spirit of fellowship.
It was a beautiful weekend. John and Miriam are fantastic hosts and Peaks of Otter Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. So many new friends met and new places to explore!!

On rare occasions, I will go to the cigar store and buy an "Ashton" brand cigar and have an old 35mm film canister. Put some Amaretto liquor in it to dip it in. Satisfying smoke.
We had a wonderful time riding with you guys. Meeting new amazing friends from different places was a plus. Our room has a perfect view and wish we could stay longer to explore the area. Miriam, belated happy birthday and wish everyone a good health and blessed year. John, Derrick is regretting for not riding his trike here in Seattle going to Oregon and Idaho.

Yeah, I was blessed to be in a support vehicle car on a trip to the Canadian Rockies, even though I had an awesome time, I really wished I could have been on my Spyder... 🥺😫... but there's always next year 😁👍👍 Thanks Miriam 🤗

Beautiful area with tress and lakes homes nice back roads. When we take trips hard to watch the road and check out the views unless I ride slow. The mountains are great we did a ride to the Smokies two years ago that was a long ride from Cincinnati on back roads on my Burgman trike two and a half days on country roads. I see you met up with a couple from Ocala. Ten years ago I would go to Ocala and Lake City on golf trips stayed and a mom and pop hotel across from then Silver Springs. Ocala is much like Kentucky many horse farms and not as flat as the rest of the state. Love your latest video and Happy Birthday to your wife John. Hope he neck is going to be okay. Most likely long rides with the heavy helmet could be the cause. .

Looks like a great place to travel to.
I really wish we could have made the trip this year. Watching the video made me truly miss living in Virginia. I loved riding all the back roads rolling through the country side and the mountains in the distance. Now that US 1 ride would be a long one. Might have to break that one into two. If you do it, US 1 runs through the area where we live in Florida. A heads up and you just might have company heading to the Keys.

Sorry to hear that Miriam is experiencing some neck pain. Being Captain obviuos has she tried a lighter helmet? Shoei are great helmets, but there are lighter ones out there may or not work. I guess that you could say that I am full of all sorts of useless information or some say I am just full of it. Another great video. Keep enjoying and living the dream
It’s not the helmet. My neck is “unstable” from arthritis…kind of like that genga game when the blocks are stacked at a slant! Something I’m learning to manage. Old age is not for sissies!
Sorry to hear that. I agree that old age is not for sissies. I turn 70 next year and I am planning a trip around oz on a motorcylce. There is crazy and there is CRAZY. But life is a one shot deal and I don't want to be apart of the "I should have done that " clan@@miriambryant1896
Recent subscriber… stumbled on your channel as I’m considering going to 3 wheels after about 60 years of motorcycle riding…I’ve risen motorcycles throughout eastern Canada, NE USA and Europe/UK..enjoying your channel… any tips for someone with my motorcycle background?
John recommends taking the 3-wheel class. It’s a great way to get a feel for the spyder and to understand its unique features.

Is a F3 Limited a poor man’s Rt???????
Not at all! I always tell people to try both. RTL you sit more on the bike; the F3L you sit in the bike and it’s a bit sportier feel. Not much difference weight wise between the 2. Ride both 😊
I had 2020 f3 limited and it was great, but now have a 2023 rt limited. It rides smoother and a bit more comfortable.
