    Wowser, what a perfect combination of a great song and a great banjo arrangement and performance.

    Nice job John. I'm sure you know that this song was written by Jay in 1982 for the participants of the Ashokan Fiddle & Dance Camp to play as a farewell on the last day of camp. 8 years later, it was used as a theme for Ken Burns' Civil War documentary, although the tune had nothing to do with the Civil War. It sure sounds great on the plectrum banjo.

      Yes I am, I used the Civil War theme since a lot of people associate this song with the Ken Burns film.
