I will not be held responsible on the modifications you may do after watching some of my videos, i do these videos to help you out and show you.
No, you're wrong - a battery is not a battery. You need to code in the new battery into BEM, or otherwise the car will now treat your new battery as it did fit the defective battery. The result will be poorer emissions, possible damage to the alternater, and you will shorten the life of your new battery.
This is wrong. Yes the physical install is fine but the battery has to be coded into the cars CPU via ODB11 or other coding interface.
How to do this, can you help me please?
@@ibrahimmercan3709 just buy a bluetooth device and use ur phone with an app. it takes one google search man
but arente these battery to be caliberated correctly as there are electrical componets that needs to be caliberated for the power at the Audi shop still?
The new battery should be encoded to the system if am not mistaken. Audi computer system should know you have a new battery. 😜
Yes, you should choose Gateway (19), select adaption and you will get drop down list. Then select the Battery adaptation option. From the Battery Adaption Screen you can now change rated battery capacity, battery manufacturer, battery serial number and battery technology to match the battery you have fitted. Battery technology should be set to "Fleece" for standard AGM, not "Binary-AGM"!
This is even more important because the battery technology has been changed from EFB to AGM
Thanks for this! Helped a lot... do you have a video for changing Audi headlights? (Mainbeam:dipped headlight) ?? That’s the error warning I’m getting and been told I won’t be able to fix myself without coding etc...
Where to get it coded? Cost? OK to use before coding?
Did you program it in the car computer? Is the battery still alive?
Thanks man!!! It was useful. V6 TDI)) oh man, I think this car is very fast))
Thanks for the video! Can you help me with the product codes for the spare wheel tool holder and spare wheel tool storage? I have an audi a4 mild hybrid that came only with tyre repair kit and I want to install a spare wheel but needs the accessories that are needed.
Nice 1 for the educational video…top man 🙏🏻✌🏻
Well done good job and great video. Thanks
Good! Thanks
My man where did you buy the S logo on your gear lever panel?
My b9 2016 battery is still going fine. Sounds like you just need to buy a battery charger and charge your battery instead of replacing. I work in a battery store and see it all the time. People don't drive much and have a flat battery but buy a new one as they don't know they can just recharge lol
Do you not need to code the new battery to the car as these have intelligent charging?
Oh maybe that's why my start stop doesn't work I bought my 2017 a4 used I always get a fault error maybe the previous owner replaced with the wrong battery or maybe the battery is original making it 5 years old now
Did your start n stop work after that ?
Yeah it working perfectly
New battery needs to be encoded also, do NOT do only the physical changing of battery without the software step
I dont think you should expect to have to change a battery after only 26,000 miles. I have recently had almost the exact same problen on my 2016 A4 Avant at almost exactly the same mileage, which is a bit spooky. The battery WAS completely flat, but recharging it fixed the issue. Did you try a recharge before buying new? Now all I need to understand is why the battery went flat in the first place.....
He replaced the original battery with an low cost battery...... Just recharging the battery should solve the problem, after all it was a new battery witch got flat because of lack of driving...... And he didn't code the new battery with the energy control management of the car.... He teaches bad things to other audi owners. If don't know what you are doing...... don't do it...... seek advice from professionals.....
Does the battery need to be coded?
Dizzy Roth Yes
@@waleryx how do i do this?
@@jakecross262 I have a friend who has VCDS program and using computer he indicates for the system that battery is new one with full power.
@@waleryx thanks
Is it possible to use OBDEleven PRO?
Reminder to code to the car or the car will overcharge the battery causing premature alternator and battery problems.
Don't you have to code the battery to the car?
Did you had to code the new battery?
No I didn’t have to everything worked like normal
Start/stop working I mean everything is working like before
@@R4hmans still working after 2 years? I am guessing then answer...
Of course you did. However, the fact is you CAN change the battery without coding it, but you risk ruining the alternator because of the lack of programming everything. Good luck is on your side, my friend.
@@R4hmans
Probably be a good idea to remove your metal watch just for safety sake....
Don't forget to get it coded into the car...
How ?
Surely a B9 shouldn't need a battery yet? I have a ten year old B8 on its original battery going strong!
My battery is done dude. After 6 years :( The winters in Canada reach up to -40C and now I need to change it. I'm so annoyed
