Must be different in the USA because in Europe you definitely have to register the battery.. sometimes you may also have to reset the one touch window functions after a battery change.
Funny you ask. I think it has a leak at the water pump that I just found. I don’t know for sure but that’s what I suspect. It’s super super slow leak. Other than that I have had zero issues out of this car. Very reliable.
This is a common problem on A4s as the water pump is plastic and they fail prematurely. There are some great YT videos on replacing it but it’s fairly involved. The leak will get worse until the pump fails.
This is great, thanks!
Glad you like it!
Thanks for this! Question - why do you put the plastic covers back over the terminals? Is that necessary?
Probably not, but why not do it is my thought…

Yeah, I’m not sure why mine didn’t have the option to reset. The fact that yours does makes me wonder. I’ll check mine again.
@@x-coastie Was thinking the same thing. It'd be handy if you don't have to but I was thinking you do until I saw this
Hey!
How do you like this car after 55k miles? Is it any reliable?

@@x-coastie thanks for the response. I have always been driving Japanese cars but I would like to try Audi. I might give it a shot!
