Bonifasius

A long-awaited song I made for mom's birthday. Happy birthday, mom!
This melody came to her in her dreams. She immediately recorded it as to not forget it, and ever since then she's been requesting me to make it into a song. According to her it sounded heavy and only contained nonsense lyrics (other than the titular "Bonifasius").
I've been primarily putting this off because I was waiting for the right moment. But also, I've been waiting to think of how to tackle this challenge. Think about it: how do you write a song where the melody is predetermined, and is quite short in addition to that? If you just keep repeating that same phrase with those same chords with no variation, it'll grow stale within a minute.
But after all this time spent thinking and a LOT of experimenting, I think I found a nice solution. I think the ending turned out especially nice. I'll definitely try to write more in this style when I can.
