- Day 15 | Write a piece about heaven and/or hell
Truth be told, I've known what I wanted from this one for a long time. A gracious waltz with clean, sensual vocals to signify heaven, contrasted by the rough metal-like composition to signify hell. And what subject would be more appropriate than a fallen angel? It certainly helps that I've been listening to such songs a lot lately.
Also, with my schedule FINALLY clearing up a bit, I think it's finally time to make that final stretch and finish Scoretober 3 (long overdue - but I gave you a lengthy song to make up for it ;) ). I've decided I want to do Scoretober again this year, but I'm gonna give it a slightly different form than the previous years. More details to follow!
Lyrics:
We find ourselves in a wicked place
Full of danger and delight all the same
My home, you're a stranger in this Paradise
I asked from whence you came
You're a fallen angel
Living in exile
From Paradise to Sacrifice
My angel
Love from above
Living in exile
A world free of sin about to begin
My angel
For all these years I've been suffering
And I know that will never cease
I'm trapped in a prison of my own regrets
With you I can now live in peace
You're a fallen angel
Living in exile
From Paradise to Sacrifice
My angel
Love from above
Living in exile
A world free of sin about to begin
My angel
You're trapped in this Hell
Back to your cell
You're mine
A worthy new slave
Who no one will save
You're mine
You're a fallen angel (You're trapped in this Hell, back to your cell)
Living in exile (You're mine)
From Paradise to Sacrifice (A worthy new slave, who no one will save)
My angel (You're mine)
Love from above
Living in exile
A world free of sin about to begin
My angel - Hudba
høres ut som meg❤
I think this one's really good, I like it. The turns in the vocals are a highlight, but a little held back by the synthesized instrumentals not being quite as raw as they should be. A good one to revisit when you're famous, I think.
Thanks! You're not the first who's called for a future remake of Scoretober songs, but I feel it kinda goes against the point of the challenge - that being to take a stand against my perfectionism. But who knows, maybe I'll soften up in the future ^^
I also wish I could include my actual guitar playing in this, but it's not quite yet at a level where I feel confident enough to show it off.
