Aside from how good this module sounds, I have this to interject. Wonder how many more blue synthesizers are going to hit the market in the next couple of years. First 3rd Wave, now E7.

9:50 Finally a decent controller keyboard. The MODX doesn‘t even have channel AT.
Odd idea: are there any synths that have loopbacks for adding effects in the chain? My multi-effect guitar pedal has that. I would make sense to build synths like that as well, in case you want to choose your own chorus, reverb, distortion, etc.

Hey Claudio, a question: having put your "little dirty hands" on both, what are the pros and cons between Seaboard and Osmose? The first one is tickling my will to get back to keyboards... considering the good prices on the second hand market is something I'm really thinking of buying.
I know as former piano player I'll have to learn quite from scratch, but my fear is that it could result in being more of a toy than a... please Roli don't kill me, real instrument?

Pretty average synth. I bet its overpriced as hell :D
It does have some non-average features. The main point, however, is the ladder filter. There‘s only one other poly synth with a ladder filter currently on the market: the Trigon-6. But for me the e7 sounds better, more vintage, a bit like the Memorymoog. Got mine for €1,700. If you call this ‘overpriced‘, what‘s the T6 then?
Sounds good but oberheim, sequential, moog and Groove sound better.

As a hobbyist and a huge fan, can I ask how you are connecting your synths, as in how is the Osmose playing the GS? Noob question I know but I like to know these things!
I guess in this case he used a direct connection from the MODX/Osmose to the e7. You can see the Midi cable on the back of the module.
