Cheering and screaming. It’s been a long road to get here. These 27 years have been an odyssey with many trials and tribulations to say the least to get these two back.

As someone who wasn't alive when this game dropped. I loved this game. Played this game a couple of years ago while I was searching for more Square Enix titles and fell in love with it

Goosebumps. I've been to the store a bunch of times and always dreamed about what it would be like to see the SMRPG crew on the screen and people going ham. Well here it is!
its amazing how many people instantly knew what it was after about 3 notes of music.
This is one of the best RPGs on the SNES! I really loved this game, so happy to see it get remade for the Switch. To anyone who hasnt played it and will be their first time... this game is basically a mix of Mario and Final Fantasy. And an amazing game. When it comes out, i hope you will enjoy it!!
It's like Twilight Princess all over again. SMRPG is in my top 5 SNES games, ever. I was 8 when it came out and it felt like the perfect swansong to the 16-bit era.
Wow, I just realized the original SNES game came out 27 years ago!!!! I knew it was at least 15 or 20, but 27?!!! I was 11 years old. This is still one of my very favorite games...still in shock at this announcement. I already know I'll be crying the whole way through this game!
Best collab game of all time, one of the best Nintendo games of all time. As a 40-somethin, I've been begging for this remake a LONG time, especially after the Link's Awakening remake.
I think my favorite part of this is the fact that the cheers were so loud right away, but the second it was shown to be a remake/remaster they cheered /even harder/. There's also the fact that the cheers don't stop or settle down throughout basically the entire trailer.
Then Geno happened and the rest is history and money in Nintendo's pocket.
This brings me back to when FF7 Remake was first trailered and the crowd went berserk! It was awesome. This one is a nostalgic gem back in 1996 and seeing people light up in the beginning and release date in the end is magic. This better sell well as well as sell many more Nintendo Switch as we are revving up to its new hardware upgrade soon forth. A testament to how classic games still hold dear to gamers of the past's hearts. Heres to new audience and generation who get to enjoy it.

The excitement for this game feels different than for any other game I’ve ever seen. I’ve never even played the original so I wouldn’t know but goddamn feels like people are way more hyped for this than even smash or the Zelda’s had. Crazy.
I can’t wait to see this through the new set of eyes of the remake and know that a new generation gets to experience my favorite game as a kid. I would rent it all the time but could never finish it. My gramma surprised me with my own copy as a reward for good grades in elementary school. I cherish this game and keep the cartridge, so many memories and introduced me to rpgs and the storytelling possible in games, awakened the imagination of that child that was me.

It feels weird to think that when you consider the existence of remakes, it's because the originals were released so long ago on old consoles and so that many would never have played the originals. Where has that time gone?

I'm going to be honest, Ssuper Mario RPG remake is a good choice for a comeback since I haven't seen Geno and the cloud prince for so long..! Their game was created back in 1992 and its still famous today as a living legend..! I do hope Nintendo does the same to the other games that were from the old years and remake it back

Damn, good to see I finally have a reason to play this game & actually beat it for once lol (I tried playing through it about 11 years ago on my older bros SNES & never beat it cuz I was like, 7 & dumb) so now I don’t have to spend ass loads of money to buy an SNES & a copy of the OG game off EBay,

It was strange for me. I was too lazy to get up and start my PC so I just watched on my phone in bed. I just grinned in silence for a good minute 30 and as soon as I heard Nimbus Land kick in started pumping my fists
I only call it weird because up until 2014 it was my favorite game ever (Xenoblade 1) and yet I was fairly quiet
