There is a battery icon on that outlet which means its constantly pulling from the battery if something is plugged in. The outlet under the dash on the passenger side of the console has a key icon. Only pulls power when the car is on.
Yeah I noticed that outlet was fine. Never noticed the icon on center console, I'll go check that out thanks!
This video really helped me. I have ALWAYS wanted a charger, but I was worried about the gas. I think I would be fine with an SXT 6V, think the key is to keep cruising and gas should be alright !
Let me know bout the insurance video
my man, you get better gas mileage in your V8 then I got in my V6
Thanks, daily driving it I'm pretty calm but I smash out from time to time
I drive normal in my v6 and get 18.3 miles per gallon wtf
@@lachonga1644 chabge your spark plugs
I have a 2013 Challenger R/T with 5.7/6 speed/3.73 lsd. I live in the country, about 12 miles from 3 different towns/cities, so my driving is a combined and I'm not in the city much. My average gas mileage is 21-22 mpg. On the highway cruising, the mileage is 33 mpg at 55. At 65, its 28 mpg. At 70 mph its 27 mpg. That's phenomenal compared to V8's and yesteryear when we got 8-13. BTW, this is my toy, not a daily driver. Being retired, if I have to go out in the rain, snow, sleet, etc., I've got a 2003 Trailblazer for that.
You've got the perfect setup and that's great gas mileage!
@@JRTProductions
It is great gas mileage. The 6 speed is really the old 4 speed around town, with 2 additional "overdrive" gears for higher speeds. Cruising at 70, the engine is turning about 1650-1700 rpm's, in 6th gear.
Very good video, I have an RT 2023 and I improve my performance by 35%
Man im looking at a Challenger RT YOU said it right just get the car and enjoy ive been going back and forth about the gas mileage cause i drive 46 miles 2 work im just getting it thanks bro
Did you get the rt
Should I get a GT or an RT charger? I’ve only test driven the RT, I need to test out the GT.
Wow... I have the 2019 GT Challenger and I get 15MPG... I be gunning
Lmao that’s some ass gas mileage😂
Yea man I got an RT and I'm getting 22
I have a old 06 Charger RT that I'm lucky to get 12 mpg in town. I baby it and as much as I can but my drive to work is 10 to 15 minutes at mostly in town with a short freeway blast. If I get it on the freeway and take a longer trip it can do maybe 20 mpg. It has 93500k on it now and I don't think the plugs have been changed yet. Manual says regular is fine and I don't have all advanced modes and displays the newer RT cars get and a mere 350hp but it's still the quickest car I have personally owned. Any ideas to improve it overall without spending stupid money would be appreciated, definitely going to put plugs in it soon but runs smooth, no ticking, and oil was just changed to synthetic though it probably was running at least synthetic blend Valvoline before that was clean but due.
Man I ain’t never seen better than 19mpg and some change, low end 13mpg. But then again I always drive my car in autostick mode and drive with the paddles so it never switches to 4 cylinders cause I hate that shit.
The knock sensor isn't covered under Hyundai 60k warranty?
That's what I thought, just so happens it wasn't...I'm not surprised
What do you think about the Challenger Scatpack Widebody V8 6.4 engines? Would it be the same with those? Would I be able to put mid grade gas without a problem? haha I've thinking about getting one, but I do think about the gas efficiency during a month or so. I can handle a bit more, but it all depends if it's an extreme difference or if it's only $100 to $150 more in gas than a regular v6 car throughout a month. I guess I would be okay with $200 more of gas in a month, but it's better to expect it rather than it being surprising.
Midgrade is a good Midgrade lol
appreciated
I put 91 in my 2019 charger RT idk if that's a good idea or not
It’s what I put in my 2019 rt
@@carguy0389 apparently they're saying 89 is recommended cuz our car is tuned for it
I also put 91 in my RT
I daily drive my c7 corvette and get 22 in the city and 30 in the hwy lol
less weight and gearing i heard the ls1 gets 30
How did you do the side line lights
I plan on driving back and forth alot from North Carolina to Georgia this spring/summer ... should I get a sxt or rt?
Sxt
RT is a v8 gas
Sxt
MDS engines are only available with automatic transmissions. Personally, I wouldn't want it.
It does get annoying with the exhaust
Yo what’s your avg mpg in the city so far if you were to say?
18.5-19
JRTProductions nice. A lot of people always tell me they get around 14 that’s why I’m kinda shaky on buying an rt
JRTProductions by the way, I meant strictly city, no highway. Do you still get 18 19 mpg?
It all really depends on how you drive and if you conscious of your mpgs. Average Mpgs are built up over time so I can’t say strictly city , every now and then I take the hwy for an exit or two. To be safe, you’d probably get between 13-15 in the city, it’s all about how you drive
16
Chally in eco mode!? Nay!!! 😂
Aye you get between pay periods and need to hold on to that gas you'll be happy it's there lol
Why would someone buy a v6 sports car???
Why dont u buy a v12 bro??? Y u driving what u driving y didnt u get sum faster bro u suck ong thats not a real car u dont ecen have the fastest car in the world bro u suck
@@6ixSpdZ you missed a lot of school didn’t you.
@@andrewhatton1606 some ppl can’t afford it stop talking down on what ppl drive from point A to point B
because not everyone can afford the gas on a V8 but they find the sport car cool?
@@wixyy6759 we can afford a v8 we just don’t want it
