ok. So how many people pay attention to his words??
All these comments mentioning his physical beauty and not the content of his poem or his performance make me cringe. It's not the same as when men talk about women's bodies because of the overriding sexism and inequality that exists, that is to say, men objectifying women is worse, but on a base level objectifying someone you haven't even met and thus couldn't have given you permission, whether male or female or anywhere in between is the same.
God I miss the Bowery Poetry Club and that big fucking light brite painting of Walt Whitman. ::sigh::
